stake and vote I have my account set up like this: I use a alarm bot to notify me of any activity on my account name. @EOSAlarmEBot Owner permission has a private key / Public key (cold storage, paperwallet, safety deposit box buried 6 feet deep) Active permission has a separate keypair (used for everyday activities connecting to dapps etc etc) If my everyday activities (ACTIVE keys) ever get me in trouble and my keys are compromised, I can dig up my owner keys and "change the locks" on my active permission. These engineered market drops of 10% , 20% are sheer fraud. Those with many millions of "dollars" (fiat created out of thin air numbers that only a selected few are able to create) are able to sell off crypto big time all at once, drop the price of crypto currencies, then rebuy pocketing millions of "dollars". Meanwhile the rest of us who work, save and invest in projects that we see a bright future for and can profit by investing /supporting them take the 10% , 20% haircut. Now we can just be sheep and allow these regular sheerings to take place and take these large loses, or we can look at the situation and take actions to try to counter these thefts. Remember how you felt/feel when you research a crypto project, decide that you will invest, THEN recommend to a relative/friend that they should also invest in this project, only to have its value drop by 10 or 20 percent a few weeks later. It’s a terrible feeling, trying to help someone and end up hurting them. And I am not saying all crypto projects should go up in value. Many will and should fail. Getting back to what can be done. Well there is no issue with normal trading, that is how the value of the good projects will go up over time. So we should think it over, make suggestions for others to consider/modify until an effective measure is found.

They would now have an incentive. Or a new decentralized exchange having such measures in place could be created, and supported by the community and this would attract the business of many investors. I offer this just for consideration. You know how hard you work to support your family, and save and invest to better your children’s future. If you are willing to take these big drops in stride, they will never end. And as I said, many if not most projects will fail over time, but that doesn’t mean that the good crypto projects that we invest in should have vultures continuously taking large bites out of them.

You "delegate" when you stake for others accounts. If you want you can stake all of your EOS, But I suggest you to leave some unstaked so you can also try some DApps
