I hope you are using legit wallets endorsed by Block Producers like Greymass and Scatter. Transaction are dependent on resources you have staked for CPU and Net on EOS. Unlike other consensus where spamming is taken care by putting transactions fees, on EOS it is limited by CPU/Bandwidth. As many have suggested BPs get paid from inflation fees i.e. 1% of token supply every year.

Once the Emergency Committee is disbanded, they expect to have an Oversight Committee and up to 5 governance bodies/structures in place after them - using 2% perpetual inflation. Their planned objective of an Oversight Committe and 5 governance structures funded by 2% inflation, not just 1M EOS and burn the rest...that's a comment in the proposal that should have an asterisk behind it to note the above.

Not exactly - we are building a frontend UI for REX as part of Chintai 2.0. There will be many other REX interfaces in the community as well not exclusive to Chintai. But I'm confident we will have a number of features that will set ours apart.

Agreed oversimplification on my part. REX is a command line function in eosio so can't be used by "Normal" people as they can't use command line. Chintai will interface with the REX functions in the eosio code as will any other dApp, wallet or exchange which chooses to do so. I'm super pumped for you guys thst REX turned out to be as it is. I know there was a lot of uncertainty when it was first announced as to if it would render chintai useless. I think from this we can see all block.one eosio improvements will be base layer code and not dApp level. They'll use the code in their dApps no doubt, but they won't create tools and new base code at the same time. So much better for the community and existing dApps this way. Makes for a great environment for competition, innovation and choice for the end user.

Understood. For me though the flexibility Chintai offers in leasing period and rates makes it the smart choice in leasing - this is before we even see the multiple improvements of version 2.0 and the additional side benefit of CHEX tokens.

I agree on EOSWeekly as to why B1 seems to be focused on making dapps recently. It's because their dapps have lots of potential users - us, and they could launch these dapps on a chain so it doesn't cost them a lot to launch. We gotta admit that even the outcome for REX is still not certain. Then they will be saying that in the future, this chain will serve as a sidechain to the mainnet when IBC is available.

Dapps can lead to mass adoption when coupled with free accounts/eos. Imagine giving 5million people free accounts in latin america, africa, asia etc. The dapp would enable them to create value/ utilise eos to participate in a currently centralised (but decentralising) economy. Inclusion is key I think and I hope B1 is thinking about how to do this.

EOS tokens can be transacted in a manner similar to bitcoin without the need to create an account first. A smart contract could be written that enables pay to address. Each transaction could include a small fee payable to the account which publishes it to the blockchain. This would completely solve the problem of needing an account to create an account. Best of all this can be implemented without fork.

I would like to see temporary accounts. Say I want to send myself 50 eos from my main account with millions of EOS, to my spending account. That way I can spend money with Mr. Shady Trickster without him finding out that I'm super rich and plotting to kidnap me. I setup a temporary account to use as a go-between. Temp accounts should be limited to using only EOS and one specified token. Set it to expire after 30 minutes or whenever the account balance becomes less than 0.001 EOS. Its remaining funds get redistrbuted to staked voters in the community using already in place methods, and all it's account information is deleted forever including transactions and memos. This way in order to trace the flow of tokens you have to already know the origin and the final destination. But if you don't have that information already it makes it much harder to track or find.

You can still prove that you sent transactions if you sent a first memo to the temp account with half of a cryptographic key, and then send the second transaction to the destination with the other half of the key, and the sender keeps the related private key as a receipt. The transaction data for your main account will show the outgoing memo and the receiving account will show record the incomming memo. And only the sender will have the private key that links the two.
