Never seen a clause literally stating that in any EOS governance document; but you might try to get to that consequence linking arts. IV and VI of the interim Constitution.

you can try and deny the existance or relevance of gambling addiction all you want but at the end of the day it exists and the way around it is to expect from the gambling sites and investors to do something about it in a way that deals with the problem without hindering the leisurely aspect of gambling. Having a self imposed ban button right next to the bet now button is one way to do that and fostering an expectation from the community and perhaps more significantly the block producers and block one themselves that every gambling dapp should have this. Even better would be to deisgn gambling sites that detect compulsive and addictive behaviour and offer assitance to these individuals ( therapy or some shit) that is paid for from the profits prehaps. We have an oppuirtunity to redesign the way trhings are done not just recreate them so a whole new bunch of thoughtless greedy animals can sit around the table

Or we could say the wpf can only be used to stake for resources for the proposed dApp or tool... That'd effectively remove incentive to exit scam the wpf and would provide a valuable resource for devs to launch projects at a greatly reduced cost. Eos tokens would be locked to no immediate impact on supply / dumping etc.

All the negativity that follows Brock from his past has the unintended effect of casting more speculation/doubt. With such a new project, and with so much negativity already circulating from competitors, I think it's smart. At the end of the day, the goal isn't to build Brock's celebrity, it's to bring blockchain and the benefits of decentralization to the mainstream. I respect him falling back, takes a lot to do that, especially on a project you fostered and put a lot of time, resources and love in to.

I have my account set up like this: I use a alarm bot to notify me of any activity on my account name. @EOSAlarmEBot Owner permission has a private key / Public key (cold storage, paperwallet, safety deposit box buried 6 feet deep) Active permission has a separate keypair (used for everyday activities connecting to dapps etc etc) If my everyday activities (ACTIVE keys) ever get me in trouble and my keys are compromised, I can dig up my owner keys and "change the locks" on my active permission. I've started researching and found that I have only 14 days to submit the evidence that the account is mine, or else... Today I opened my FairyWallet and discovered a number of Arbitration transactions dated beginning of December. Looks like someone is trying to dispute the ownership of my EOS account. I've started researching and found that I have only 14 days to submit the evidence that the account is mine, or else... Obviously I missed this deadline as I never thought I have to check for these issues. Has anyone here faced anything similar? It seems I still have the control over the account, should I create a new one and move the funds? I contacted the arbitration service with the same questions, but they have been quiet... Any recommendations?

Did you register your ethereum address? Do you have your EOS private key/public key pair? If yes, you can use scatter and access your eos on the mainnet. If no, you may need to use eosauthority.com fallback option to get a eos keypair and access your tokens on the mainnet.

All airgrabs are different from each other. They all cost a tiny amount of RAM, so make sure you have a few bytes for each. It's around 300 bytes each token to store the vakues on your account. You can collect POOR tokens for staking and voting for 25+ Block Producers (doesn't matter which ones) Some airgrabs are fininished, and some keep on making it rain in installments.

each airdrop is different, but having your tokens staked seems to offer the most value in airdrops. None punish you for having liquid tokens, but some reward you for staking. Plus you get the added security of 72 hours time delay on your assets.

I don't see any risks. You lend it out, you get paid afterwards. You lose control of your vote power on the tokens you lease, but the chintai proxy is more or less and excellent choice regardless.

You can stake and lease resources through chintai leasing. You can choose many gambling dapps that are using profit sharing and collect daily dividends if you trade eos for their gambling dapp tokens. Like POKER tokens or DICE tokens or REKT tokens etc etc.

I think Ledger may announce on 7th that they are releasing something like "Ledger Mobile", with ports for connection to your phone, for use with their mobile version of Ledger Live.

This would be a great move. Enabling more ledger usage while on the go is a brilliant step forward

etherdelta is an ethereum based exchange only ethereum and erc-20 tokens can be traded there. dexes like newdex, chaince and dexeos are the equivalent on the eos blockchain. you trade eos based tokens there only. kucoin and other tradtional centralized exchanges are cross-blockchain, you can trade eth vs eos vs btc and so on there. but typically they dont have the smaller eth or eos based tokens.

Yeah newdex has no incentive to not allow you to trade as they make a fee when you trade. But you are right, it's a strange error.

If/when the WPS fails to launch on EOS, I'm hoping a brilliant group like the Chintai team can round up sponsors and build another revolutionary platform like Kickstarter/GoFundMe ontop of EOS where users have direct involvement with the builders/devs/teams that need funding for their project. Good old fashioned entreprenuership by devs drumming up excitement for their plans and drawing investors in directly.

I am highly curious of his take as well. I like the larger structure, but have concerns of the centralized nature of the currency system, which probably isn't even required to be used. All in all, I don't like many of the points of view floating around those parts, but I suppose that wouldn't matter if they succeed in removing the ability of that having an effect on others.
