There isn’t a law for DACs. There aren’t any real defining laws for lots of this kind of stuff - hence my earlier comments

The problem I have with KYC is it drags in nationally imposed restrictions (discrimination) into what should be a globally distributed and nondiscriminatory platform... Eg. Oh you're from Iran? Sorry you can't participate. From N Korea? Sorry. Under 18? Sorry. Prior conviction smoking weed? Sorry. Your gov don't like you? Sorry. That's not an inclusive system, that's our existing banking system, and it leads to favoritism and corruption.

The question every user should ask to themselves is..do I give 110% trust to operating systems like windows constantly upgrading...do we know axactly what's going? In my opinion I would not hold large sums of eos in such wallets that are constantly online

There is no silver bullet to block chain governance. There are no universal principles. No founding myth. No moral glue. Everything is compromise. There are some things I am willing to compromise. There are some I am not. This is why BPs should simply signal their individual intent and let voters vote accordingly It is easier to change BPs than amend a broken constitution.

It is only better if you are a token holder that values transparency. (I know... captain obvious, right?) My point is, opaqueness is a signal as well. If token holders elect a bunch of opaque BPs, then we have a glimpse into the values of the token holders.

At the moment, it's used by app makers and app users. It's not just about making payments. Staking your EOS is how you claim your resources. But that EOS can be unstaked and used for other purposes (like paying for things, etc).

I’m just curious why monetary incentive is better than the incentive to give to the community. An Example would be Linus to give away his work for free by creating linux and Microsoft monetizing on Windows.
