There is one big problem though. The GFC. Transactions are being blocked for example when using certain VPNs, regardless which node you select. This affects not only Chinese Users but the whole eosio network. Are you working on solutions for that too?

Um.. yeah, reverse this. Sure, it is looking out for big holders more than little holders, but that is due to feasibility. Protecting institutional holders will help little holders, and may even help grow eos to the point where it is feasible to help people in these types of situations.

It's a good idea to have different active and owner keys. You could keep the owner private key off scatter, and off your computer for safety.

This is where having multiple levels of accounts with associated permissions comes into play. Let's say 3 owners. Each can have their own account. Then funded accounts could sit below them with something like a 2 of 3 multisig. Very simple example

I think developers are realizing that POW is not going to be able to compete with faster protocols.... the main use for POW is to sale the mining equipment...the problem is that mining will be much harder once the btc havening is finally here in 2020...less mining after the havening...not sure if this will make the platform weaker for attacks

If you want a governance free chain then it must have immutable rules. If you want censorship resistance then block production must have a cost not a profit. The cost to produce a block must increase with the demand to censor until a market equilibrium between demand for speech and demand to censor is reached.

more than 1 type of bridge? technically the best objectively correct bridge is one that requires the least amount of custodial trust. no use in creating a 2nd bridge that requires more trust/centralization. if we come up with a better bridge design than the DPOS SPV we'll announce it. in fact, i was going to write an article on just that, DPOS SPV clients. not enough talk about this and B1 doesn't seem to prioritize IBC, even between DPOS/EOSIO chains themselves 😕

The only difference between multisig and kyber is kyber is just waiting for the first 15 BP to sign off finality to the transaction.. which is effectively another form of multisig

yeah the relay on bos isnt owned by bps, but that could be changed

What I love so much about Bitcoin is that it built itself in the image that it wanted to become. This image doesn’t fit inside any current legal or governmental framework. The world will adapt to Bitcoin, not the other way round.
