For Independent Reserve, I was not allowed to review the final implementation (and probably would be under an NDA in that case anyway 😅), but based on our discussions with them the implementation and security measures seem to be decent. 👍 (I probably should add a disclaimer that this is not financial or any other kind of advise, so don't come after me in case of whatever .... 🤐😂)

yeah it uses a complex, well what i would consider complex algorithm to swap the tokens in a way that even tokens with extremely low liquidity can trade at a reasonable price... thats my understanding anyways

Python can compile to WASM, but the specialized tooling to compile python smart contracts to WASM doesn't yet exist afaik. It's possible python would present some unique challenges on this front.

I think, although frustrating, postponing releases/information until there is legal clarity is absolutely the right move. Governments and banks are already in hot water in regards to their public image, they will absolutely not be doing business in a way that will taint that image further.

Both Bitcoin and Ethereum were called scams more heavily in the early days, and still are. EOS is only 9 months old, and nearly all crypto press outlets are entrenched or owned by competitive interests, and the mainstream press is controlled by the existing financial system. In the last year, EOS has disrupted a lot of big players both in the blockchain industry and traditional finance; the EOS token sale was larger than any IPO in the USA last year and has pushed less performant and less capitalized projects towards aggressive posturing out of fear. We’re going to stay chill and just keep building.
