Food decentralisation, I could argue, is based on sound money. I'm in the UK. Fiat + policy = land & housing costs so high most could never buy it, or could buy it but have to work ++ to pay for it. Sound money = rational market = abundant resources for average person on this island.

I find your reasoning very difficult to follow. You seem to be denying reality so you can push an ideology (which I guess is socialism, though I can't be sure). Pre industrial Revolution English people living in rural areas often did very well. Very cheap rent of their cottage (often just a few weeks labour a year to pay for it) + land around cottage + access to common land for grazing = quite a nice life of abundance. I'm not at all sure we have improved on this (on average) Then we had enclosures, then mass migration to cities, then population explosion. 16 hour days, 6 day weeks, poor quality food. Of course 2019 is better than middle of industrialing hell. Fiat currency has allowed government & wealthy to extract ever greater amount of money from the rest. Sound money will stop mass warfare, & stop the expropriation (via inflation of assets) & gradually stop extreme concentrations of wealth & return a levelling.
