The adoption is slow, but we have to remember that from when the Internet finally went public it still took 25 years to take us from sending an email through a modem to everyone using it, playing games, watching movies etc

To date only EOS mainchain has given a true 1:1 token allocation to genesis participants. Something to consider for B1 airdrops. IMO b1 will only drop to EOS mainchain or some other unannounced chain. Speculation only, though.

Exodus wallet was an ethereum wallet that supported the eos airdrop, so you have frozen ethereum EOS tokens that are worthless relics from the token sale, and you have very valuable EOS mainnet tokens that give you access to resources on the eos network. If you have an eos account you can move them off exodus and if you don't have an account, we can get you one. I have codes you can use to redeem a free account if you need one.

That’s sucks. Need many users to combat this. Many tables. And anonymous user names which change each time you play like on bovada. Collision is hard to fight in online poker. I find it fascinating that they are already all over this.

you don't build up cpu by staking, you have access to it as soon as you stake. CPU is measured in time, and you should be able to see on a block explorer how much time a producer will spend processing your transactions.. something like CPU used - 4.5 ms / 1.03 s — means you have 1.03 seconds of processing time

Yes indeed ... Block one can create a change where in once you stake 1000 EOS from your account you should be able to stake and unstake 1000 EOS for others quickly ... This prevents spam and gives enormous flexibility for dapp developers and makes ux seamless

The terms of the token sale were designed to mitigate regulatory risk and certainly were not the motivation for people to move $4bn from their pockets to B1. “The tokens are worthless but if you donate money we will use it to build amazing blockchain tech and make the world a better place” pretty much sums up how $4bn found its way to B1 and absolutely creates a clear set of expectations as to what donated funds are to be used for. Approaching the current situation with “the thanks for all the fish, read the fine print and we are just doing what the other big tech companies do”, imho, simply doesn’t cut it. B1 ostensibly exists to change the paradigm, not entrench it. There is no precedent for financial reporting on billions of dollars in donated/community funding for a blockchain tech company because it’s never happened before – it’s up to B1 to create the precedents. I fully understand and sympathize with the douchebaggery prevalent in the space as I’ve had front row seats for many years. No one is asking B1 to drop their shorts. But there’s a hell of a big distance between where things stand today and letting it all hang out. B1 could absolutely be providing high level breakdowns showing the flow/allocation of token sale funds without putting the company at some type of competitive disadvantage. Back to the pie charts – create a community funds page and show breakdowns. As individual products are released, add a wedge to show how much of the community pot was spent. Show us how much has been spent on maintaining and updating the EOSIO code base. For the money allocated to VC, give us another pie chart showing how much went to which shop, then have each individual company produce their own pie charts showing where they invested the money. Show us how much annual income the treasury is producing. Have the lawyers put all sorts of disclaimers on the info. But make the effort to show the community how the money is being put to work. With regard to governance I can’t disagree that B1 is damned if they do and damned if they don’t. At this point, however, B1 participation is critical and without it EOS growth and adoption is going to be severely stunted. Big things are coming down the pipe in the next couple quarters and if EOS doesn’t have a strong foundation in place before the next wave hits it’s going to get ugly. It is blatantly obvious the community needs help getting the governance mechanism set up and functioning. Governance doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to start working. Once functional the community can debate and tweak till the cows come home. But it has to start now so there is time to work out the kinks before any real adoption starts. B1 needs to step in and say “Here is what we believe is the right thing to do, and we are going to vote accordingly”. B1 can listen to feedback and adjust as time goes on, but it needs to act. Per my last, it is best for B1 to start participating now with a small and tight community than it will be 6-12 months down the road when the user base starts going exponential. A constitution must be ratified. Voting must be incentivized. ECAF has to be disbanded. 1T/1V. REX implemented. The issues have been debated, are well understood and need to be parked so we can move on to bigger and better things. Abstaining has been a good policy thus far, but time’s up. I am very happy to hear B1 will be publishing a roadmap! But the timing is not very helpful; please consider higher level/sooner as opposed to detailed/later. Regarding public vs. private implementation, I sincerely hope all donated funds and frankly the vast majority of B1 resources/effort are devoted to the public chain. If B1 is serious about its vision of change the public infrastructure has to be rock solid before anything else is built out. I’m sure B1 is positioned to make incomprehensible amounts of money for shareholders doing private chains. But please change the world before you line pockets.

Brendan Blumer said in the last few weeks that the wallet was just being polished and was with the legal and marketing teams. He reckoned Q1 launch. There's no 'delay' as such, just taking their time to get it right, it seems. Also, the Android version will only be for high end phones, apparently

if you already have some staked, the cpu/net will regenerate within 24hr if you've used it up.. If you have 0 staked, you won't be able to make a transaction unless someone else has delegated you some cpu/net. You need cpu and net from somewhere, and not having any means you won't be able to make a transaction.

its pretty easy... you would just generate a new keypair in scatter or whatever wallet you use, make sure you save it somewhere safe, then paste in the PUBLIC key when updating..

Eos is 4th everywhere but CoinMarketCap who say total supply is just over 900m for some reason. Maybe they’re not counting B1’s tokens

how much need pay for create acount eos?

im not sure how much ram the scatter account creator buys during the setup, or how much cpu and net they give you... but generally it takes like 3kb of ram to create an account. ram right now costs around .06 eos per kb, and those 3kb are the only cost you can't get back.. so while it might ask for a little more to get started, the only eos you wont get back is around .18 eos
