Adding inflation might just increase the circulating supply, lowering the interest and token value. We will have more resources coming in the form of side chains. Increase cuts are naive, I would say. Better we wait for URI and identity oracles to distribute the tokens to new users, instead of just making current users rich and network centralised.

i appreciate the efforts of EOS Canada on many fronts. but i think it's a real mistake to perpetuate the view of REX "tokens" as anything other than an internal accounting and programming construct that should be HIDDEN from users. it should not be represented to the user that they are buying REX tokens. instead, they are lending EOS. buying something implies that something else of value is given in exchange. but that is NOT what is happening here. also, trading one value token for another would be a taxable event, at least in the U.S. but lending EOS is NOT an exchange of value, and is therefore not taxable. representing this action as buying REX is inaccurate and will needlessly confuse and mislead users. i wish people would stop doing that. any use of term "REX" should be in reference to the EOS Resource EXchange only, and i will keep plointing out that bloks.io is the only UI i'm aware of that has figured this out. overall, i am very impressed with their offering, which is very intuitive and feature-rich. p.s. i have zero affiliation and i am not receiving anything for talking about bloks.io. it's just a damn good UI that doesn't assume everyone is a tech geek

Nobody really uses it anymore. Then main one is binance. Also it doesn’t even have a stop loss function, so it’s mostly for investors. And they’re probably using binance and other big exchanges anyway. Not having a stop loss function is so important to many people in this market. Kucoin will never become a big exchange without it.

Huobi, please explain!!! Why does the current #1 Block Producer Huobi have their minimun withdraw limit on the exchange set to 100 EOS? This is very counterproductive to EOS adoption, since any Huobi client wanting to buy their first EOS and use it would have to invest a lot. I would expect a BP to do everything in their power to promote mass adoption. Compared to TRON on Huobi EOS minimum withdrawal limit is 51 667% higher!

For those who have some interest in TZM internal matters Gilbert, an old guard upper echelon right hand man to PJ returned after not being seen since Zday 2017. He complained the Discord server wasn't official and demanded Admin access... which would let him kick out the other admins and destroy the community. He said that if he didn't get admin access he'd make the community go dark by removing all mention of it on the Facebook, website etc. Whilst he has lots of keys to the kingdom so to speak. YouTube, Facebook, and maybe the mailing list, he didn't have a login to the main website. He got banned for a week, returned and proceeded to do the same as before. He is in a Mean Blue SDi level. He is God, the almighty powerful and he decides what can be done and what can't. If he isn't admin of it then it's not "Official" TZM and should be shut down. That seemed to be his reasoning. After days of ranting and using the place as a therapy session it seems he's calmed down a bit. But he made a play to get admin access to thezeitgeistmovement.com and the community sent yet another flurry of emails to PJ asking him not to give Gilbert any more power. Thankfully PJ's response was perfect and said that the movement should be decentralised and that he didn't want there to be conflicts over power. He wants the term "Official" or anything alluding to TZM having a hierarchy to be removed from all TZM content. So that's good. He's in line with what we all want and what he's advocated since the start, but the people who had been in place before (the GCA), are gone and no longer imposing such structure on the movement. Welcome to TZM v2.0

I started my own tzm and had over 350 people in my group. I've never heard of Gilbert, and I've only been to the official website a handful of times. That's decentralized 😁

Nice write up. The past year was a good lesson for me and I think that we needed the WPS at the beginning rather than now when most of the job has been already done. There will be always something to do but I think we should leverage first this community first before setting up systems difficult to control. I think that lowering the inflation now is a good choice and in case we need it we can bring it up again for a good reason. Until the. It has no sense diluting the value and taxing people. They need to specifically agree to it first in a proper referendum process
