I like the analysis but the base concept of vote valuation is flawed. Voting cannot be based on “Amount of EOS”. This method of voter participation/control will ultimately fail. Power will always consolidate itself for like seeks like throughout time! Please understand that the decentralization of resources sounds good but the resources of one party is always relative to the resources of another. In order to maintain the balance of BP power the only mechanism where resources are taken out of the equation is the unique voting protocol. 1user, 1 ID, 1 vote. In this way we decentralize the power to the user base. This is the balance of decentralized voting power controlling a centralized BP structure. Once we learn to look at these issues with a balanced approach we begin to see the cycle of things and the beauty of nature in all things. The goal should be to design in a complete system of equitable interchange/trade. Additional topics to discuss to flesh this idea out. 1. Proper voting controls, ie. laws prohibiting vote buying with severe penalties. This of course will take much rigor and structure both subjectively and objectively. 2. The second attack vector will be media control. This is handled pretty well with proxy’s right now as the user can pick and choose with a great deal of transparency. 3. There may need to be some incentive structure to drive voter participation. More analysis needed. Hope this viewpoint adds to the debate over these topics now and in the future.

I like the analysis but the base concept of vote valuation is flawed. Voting cannot be based on “Amount of EOS”. This method of voter participation/control will ultimately fail. Power will always consolidate itself for like seeks like throughout time! Please understand that the decentralization of resources sounds good but the resources of one party is always relative to the resources of another. In order to maintain the balance of BP power the only mechanism where resources are taken out of the equation is the unique voting protocol. 1user, 1 ID, 1 vote. In this way we decentralize the power to the user base. This is the balance of decentralized voting power controlling a centralized BP structure. Once we learn to look at these issues with a balanced approach we begin to see the cycle of things and the beauty of nature in all things. The goal should be to design in a complete system of equitable interchange/trade. Additional topics to discuss to flesh this idea out. 1. Proper voting controls, ie. laws prohibiting vote buying with severe penalties. This of course will take much rigor and structure both subjectively and objectively. 2. The second attack vector will be media control. This is handled pretty well with proxy’s right now as the user can pick and choose with a great deal of transparency. 3. There may need to be some incentive structure to drive voter participation. More analysis needed. Hope this viewpoint adds to the debate over these topics now and in the future.

Missed blocks can be caused by lots of stuff, including other BPs. Until it's fixed in EOSIO itself, that's not a good plan.

Sure can. Its also the job of producers to complete blocks. If they produce more than they dont it shouldnt be an issue.

There didn’t get transferred, accounts were created on mainnet so they are no longer erc-20. From now use your EOS account name.

Yes, you can have multiple accounts under one private key. It's not the safest way to store account names, but it's perfectly fine if you can keep your owner keys on a ledger or offline.

Yep, never throw away an account or the keys to the account. Future airdrops, or forks, side chains might want to use your genesis account to reward you.

My thinking is they want to attract devs (through funding / hackathon etc) and save the 'marketing' for their own product releases. So when they announce products expect the marketing to start.

We already have the fastest blockchain with the lowest cost of entry for developing on, so it won't be long until MAJOR dapps are announced with monster usage and those generally sell themselves.

B1 is a totally separate entity to eosio which is a self organizing, immune system that seems to work better than anything else out there lol and that's the marketing I'll be excited about. The dapps will have their own marketing and it'll be an all you can eat advertising buffett.
