I disagree there.. good BP deserve to be paid for their work. There are some great BP that bring a ton of value, and would use the rewards to bring more value here. Unfortunately vote buying and shit bps are slowly taking over

I keep pushing this but you need to be able to attach your thumbprint to a digital identity to make logins and account creations seamless like iOS. You wouldn't have to use your name, phone # or address but attaching a thumbprint to accounts would disrupt all of the people trying to use EOS for malicious purposes. Right now, when we identify a person spamming / scamming us, we ban them. They just create a different account and get right back on the network. If you can ban a thumbprint, then they can't physically create another account...ever.

Yes, it's not the best at the moment. Hopefully will get better with time. At the moment airdrops using this method is like holding something out with an open palm to be accepted by those who take it. If they don't take it, the offering hand will be withdrawn. The problem is when they appear in ones account, they already seem like they are yours, and them dissappearing one day has the feeling of theft, even though it is not. Better UX with the wallets, block explorers is the solution, I feel.

Very poor communication. Almost every contract is communicated with the subject. I was never notified that I needed to register. Do they expect people to be psychic? IMO This should not be allowed on EOS. It makes us look bad. If something is deposited to an account no one should be able to burn it or delete it if you don’t follow their uncommunicated demands. I really don’t care that much but I feel as though it makes new users feel like they got robbed. It’s just bad business. Feels scammy to say the least.

We will see. FYI I seriously thought about the UBI idea and I do think it will be a good way to onboard new users. What better way to attract people than to give out a small amount of money? The idea is that once you attract enough users, the network effect they will bring will be exponential. The only thing that I question is whether using EOS inflation only to pay for UBI will be enough.
