The scandal had to do with some data gathered that suggested there are 8 Chinese BPs using their collective vouting clout to vote for one another. This was addressed by a Tweet by Brenden Blumer (CEO of Block.one) who suggested that the 10% EOS reserved stake would be used to bust up any cartels if they are found.

It can be fixed in the sense that block.one can influence over 20% of the vote with their holdings alone. Whether or not they choose to flex that influence is another matter. Whether the allegations are true or not is also in question. It's my opinion that B1 should stake their 10% quietly and be done with it.

I think people are noticing the blemishes on EOS because it's one of the few chains with its face toward the sun. When you trade in hype and speculation, reality is your worst enemy. I'm looking forward to when fundamentals finally take the wheel. Blockchain isn't perfect folks. DPoS isn't perfect. Governance, consensus, economics, all are still being worked out. You want perfect decentralization, keep chasing whitepapers.

check on bloks.io for all the airdrops you received. If you received a token that's not showing up on greymass, you can look up the smart contract on bloks under tokens and add it yourself on greymass

There are a few now. The bloks.io one supports multiple keys which is a definite plus. There's also Fairy Wallet and scatter desktop which support the ledger. Scatter will be implementing support for multiple keys at some point. They're are others too

Ok I've set up bloks.io wallet using ledger and I've tried to stake some eos, new to this so trying to get a grasp of it, so when I go to stake I just used my account name (owner of stake) and the automatic amounts set at 0.2 CPU 0.2 NET and I get Error message, ["code" :500,"message":Internal Service Error", " bla bla bla basically says, account has insufficient ram, needs 3574 has 3557... Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this to do with my laptop being a banger?

Marvet: For a couple of months we're working with a team on an EOS app for creating collaborative art, called CryptoPIX. It started with a research project, a collaboration between YX Impact Innovations and computer science students from the Delft Technical University. As part of this project we also created a prototype for the dapp. Currently we are preparing an early adopter program, enabling people to buy the in-game PXS token. The raised funds will be used for further development, EOS/RAM requirements and marketing purposes. Besides we will distribute PXS tokens via airgrap (free PXS tokens for EOS account holders) In addition we will give away a limited amount of free EOS accounts in order to attract a new audience. This will stimulate users to play without requiring them to have an EOS account yet. The sudden launch of Pixelmaster came as a surprise to us. However, we are very confident that our version is more advanced and has the potential to stay active as it doesn't have a ponzi setup and stimulates users to draw nice art. spamming is hard to avoid in any blockchain but if you see the spamming is not free. Whoever does it has to pay the ram price and tiny bit of EOS. If you look at your EOS account in bloks.io you will see plenty of 0.001 eos fee paid to your account. And as the price of ram increase you will notice less spamming

BTW, your eos account name, is your wallet. It's how you access that account that matters. I have my account set up like this: I use a alarm bot to notify me of any activity on my account name. @EOSAlarmEBot Owner permission has a private key / Public key (cold storage, paperwallet, safety deposit box buried 6 feet deep) Active permission has a separate keypair (used for everyday activities connecting to dapps etc etc) If my everyday activities (ACTIVE keys) ever get me in trouble and my keys are compromised, I can dig up my owner keys and "change the locks" on my active permission. (https://eostoolkit.io/account/permissions) If you have your tokens STAKED then you have the added security of 3 days (72 hours) to change your keys before a hacker can move your tokens off your account.

Thank you, but I'm sorry Scatter no longer uses Chrome extensions - only the desktop application which is very difficult to use `nd nothing like the video run-through. They have not made it easy. Everything is moving at a great pace. MyEOSWallet, Chintai, Scatter and DAPPS are all great developments in 4 months. The best thing is I’ve only profited by using the dapps and games available so far; look into the future. I have even had the opportunity to rent out my tokens for interest though Chintai.

Last time I looked exodus doesn't support the eos blockchain. People did use it for the eos distribution tokens on ethereum though. It's possible to export private keys from exodus.

Last time I looked exodus doesn't support the eos blockchain. People did use it for the eos distribution tokens on ethereum though. It's possible to export private keys from exodus.

Wallets don't hold coins. It'll be as secure as however safe you keep your keys. Most people use scatter, as do most apps. As to where to hold it, you won't be able to use the EOS on any apps, or get most airdrops, if it's on binance

If you do not want to trade but hold them for long term it is always better to create an account and transfer your assets there. You basically cannot put your tokens into the wallet rather you store your keys in the wallett apps secure store. Scatter is fine, the most secure solution I am aware of is Ledger Nano S which now supports EOS with FairyWallet
