It's a diplomacy matter and the Chinese community needs to be very vocal on the matter directly with StartEOS to see how they address the community. Some BP reps have reached out to them, but haven't received much in reply to the concerns. @Alexspi depends if 99% of them also go bankrupt around the same pricepoint. Also, one must consider that not all bps will have the same infrastructure in place, and as some bps go away, the ones that replace them might lower the performance of the chain dramatically (similar to how if a bunch of bitcoin miners went bankrupt and the difficulty lowered enough, then people could start mining with laptops again, but the usage of the chain would be horrible)

anyway alexspi i was saying that it could be that 99% of the existing bps might also go down at the same pricepoint or even higher, and also that most of the bps might have lower infrastructure than the higher ones, which means the public chain would suffer (Similar to how if the bitcoin miners went bankrupt and the difficulty lowered enough that people could start mining in laptops again, then the chain performance would suffer massively)

Question: Why can't block one donate its cpu to dapps since it's just sitting on coins doing nothing.? They could create a system per dapp that says, we will give adequate cpu for x number of users but limit the number of users per dapp that can get free cpu, first come first serve but then have a chronological waiting list so that every user gets a chance to use dapps and experience is smooth ...kind of like waiting list for a cash table on pokerstars

any project with tons of activity on github like ethereum is more active than eos is because ethereum is working on redesigning its platform....eos is already finsihed with that so its less activity on github...the problems being solved are for better scalability issues

Please check the commits on EOSIO. The job of Daniel Larimer is to look after and guide other developer towards his vision of making EOSIO reaching the masses. He is doing what he is good at i.e innovating. The community and developers in B1 are working hard towards the vision.

I'm the future, many wallets will start to delegate resources for opening an account with them. Also, blockone is interested in free accounts and free resources for basic account operations. Second layer solutions can also also alleviate the burden of account costs. Just like in XRP's case. Any current issues that EOS faces are easily correctable. We just need to see transparency and action from B1. Time will tell and if they don't jump on the issues, another EOS IO chain will. Generally, EOS holders are automatically invested into new chains.

Well to jump start the network, it's in their best interest to doing so, they currently aren't using their cpu resource so instead of lending it out to support the ecosystem, they are keeping it locked in the closet, they can undelegate at any point, it wouldn't hurt them at all..

That's not worse than a bitcoin wallet. It's way better still. I think a lot of big dapps of the future will assume the cost of account creation for new members. It's inevitable. Until then, eos is pay as you go

No point artifically pumping price as people will just dump again. It was the unnecessary uncertainty that caused this and damage has already been done. Just have to wait for market to turn around now.... so come back in 2020!
