Time to pass and infrastructure/economy to develop. 6 months since mainnet, all we see in price is hype meeting reality. Developers build infrastructure, if infrastructure was fast and simple to build, relationships simple to nurture, then Bitcoin would have a US ETF now after years of trying. No one that applied for an ETF disappeared, they went about meeting the requests for infrastructure to satisfy the requirements of a US ETF.
Same goes for building anything, takes time and immense effort, not 6 months.

I agree there are plenty of scammy coins / ico's out there but if somebody is actually offering a new coin / ico that actually provides proper superior value and usability etc that this should not stop them. This is great thing about crypto any money risked is voluntary as opposed to governments who take big risks with peoples hard earned money all of the time without consent.

The global increase in stocks and the bankruptcy of companies engaged in BTC mining, such as Giga Watt, lowered BTC. However, a similar fluctuation occurred between 2013 and 2015, and in 2017, BTC made a difference with its partnerships. I know there are new partnership negotiations right now. What investors need to do is to find out what coins will rise with BTC in the future.

Giga Watt mining, pretty small. But yes market will recover. BTC gets huge if there is financial crisis, if P2P Cash & payments take off via Lightning network or if Blockchain Platforms and Dapps become huge and BTC remains the reserve currency for the ecosystem. So there are many ways to win but until one of them drives genuine demand it is prone to speculation and volatile swings
