To be honest i am not a fan of this model in terms on centralization, because i prefer free / open joining option for the validators, but EOS choice is quite interesting and i will follow closely. I am not a blind believer.. I have my own research on the eos technology.. As I said I take complete responsibility for my own decisions.. It's just a matter of time that I am running out of time for a short term deadline otherwise it's all fine here.. From now, eos will grow 200x faster than what it was possible 5 months ago... Eos and it's resources are so cheap that we will see a massive surge of dapps in eos ecosystem

Ram price declined by 97% from ath and eos is oversold cheap... Visionaries can make a calculation that right now launching a dapp on eos is 200x cheaper than 5 months ago...

Few months ago ram price was 0.92 eos per kb... And eos was at 23 usd... So each kb of ram was about 18 usd for devs to launch dapp... Right now 1 kb ram is around 0.06 eos and eos at bottom 1.5 usd.. So that's less than 0.09 usd per kb.. So 18/0.09=200 That means ram is 200 times cheaper than few months ago... And don't forget about the Rex will make cpu renting more budget friendly

Imagine that a daap launch just after mainnet was 200x more expensive than what it cost now.. So in long term we all will be happy that eos price took a massive hit and dropped so low that many devs has filled their bags to migrate their dapps from eth or launching a new dapp on eos... Soon Rex and multithred will solve the cpu problem too.. So this bear market is actually accelerating eos ecosystem growth by a magnitude of 200-300x

DNS is pretty centralized. So if a powerful gov, like the US, wanted to take down a website they can. For example the US Gov siezed the domain for 1Broker, even though they were not in the US, because they were running an unregulated exchange that let you trade US stock futures.

True. At the same time - Games are there though. We have been on EOS for quite a bit now at Blockchain Cuties. Implemented our own wallet solution , got Scatter added ( working on integrating more wallets soon ) and talked to a few people who said that EOS takes a bit more than they expected to get started. Like the CPU use is quite high if you want to do many things. And there's so much you can rent out from services. Could that be an issue with traditional games on EOS? As ETH for example doesnt require us to stake anything to play, but takes a toll in Tx fees and higher congestion risks comparing to EOS.

Accordingly, any suggestion to use a referendum to validate ECAF must be seen for what it is: an attempt to make it difficult to remove a centralized entity that is neither accountable to token-holders nor to the BPs who can be easily punished (and thus controlled) by token-holders. Voters should be asked if they want a centralized and unaccountable body to be the final arbiter in all disputes on a decentralized global platform.
