Not that I'm aware of. eosDAC has no interest in leasing. We're about EOS block production and DAC Enabling. We're also supporters of Chintai.

Permissions are funky in EOS. It's taken me a while to wrap my head around it. They can be named whatever you want. We could have a "werner" permission, for example.

Unfortunately, I think many invest in things they don't understand. We've always been about block production and DAC enabling. That's why I got involved. I didn't sell my tokens when I could have made a lot of money. I think DACs are the future and I hope investors agree. I hope there will be many revenue-generating opportunities for eosDAC in the future to incrase the value for everyone. But let's not talk about that here. And I'm not saying competition would be bad. Would probably be good for everyone to have many options when leasing EOS in a secure way. I just doubt eosDAC would focus on something that big when our core focus is enabling DACs. I hope revenue for eosDAC will come from enabling DACs. So many companies, non-profits, corporations, and (hopefully in the future) governments can benefit from better, transparent, on-chain governance models that DACs may evolve into. I can see eosDAC as being a leader in that movement with members paid for consulting expertise, etc, etc.

Decentralization used to be really expensive. Prohibitively expensive. Hierarchies are what we evolved to be familiar with and require less expense. Easier for people to rule and be ruled... but not any more. Now networks grow more valuable the more people who join them. Hierarchies are no longer the best approach. This is what gets me excited about cryptocurrency and blockchains. 🙂

Crypto is not only beeing indepentedent of your bank. That's bitcoin. Decentralisation means that we no not have to depend of any big entities. We can have applications everyone can validate that they aren't scammy and we have the power to dispute if someone is gaming the system. Our current money system doesn't even allow fast transactions without paying tons of fees. Compared to a regular SEPA, bitcoin (!) is ways faster. I think in 10 years we will have blockchain based govermental issues tokens. This will also solve any issues with stablecoins

I want to send a very small gift of EOS to someone using sendEOS. However, the thought of explaining everything is too daunting; accounts, resources, crypto, wallets, scatter, tokens... I think it would probably be impossible to explain to someone like my friend. We really need to reach a state where it is expected that dApps supply the resources. Any dApp expecting customers to use their own EOS resources should swiftly be out-competed for mainstream user, who have no desire to learn about these things. The current system of resource allocation is one gigantic step better than the 'Gas' system on Ethereum, but ideally this system, too, should dissapear for general users. What we need is a situation where users have an account with all their tokens on it, they can send and recieve as they can now without having a single EOS in their account, nor even know what they are. I suppose for this, wallets, as dApps, will also need to supply EOS resources for token transfers and the like. In this way, EOS tokens gradually flow towards, the developer, or the dApp owner, who thus have more voting power and more judicious voting. All my friend needs and wants is to click 'send' and, miraculously, they appear in her other friends account.

if you registered, you you should have an eos keypair.. you would just import private key to the wallet you wanna use

Useless? Heck no. Very useful indeed. Time will tell of course, but it's a great place to go if whales destroy eos mainnet. Nice to have a back up safe house to run to if the USD fed starts buying votes for their 21 BP's.

The REX will allocate resources properly to reduce the cpu issues we faced earlier on (afaik) and generate passive income for those who rent resources. They want to get that right. No rushing perfect code. Wallets are pretty important too, even though.. we already got this with or without BM / B1 and OB1 Kenobi

I can't discuss price obviously, but there is news coming in the next week or two. We are updating our roadmap as well as a lot of IQ-protocol level updates. Quite important stuff imo because it will show the potential of the token beyond just a single-dapp utility token that doesn't just power Everipedia. Also, the community itself is growing and the token is becoming more and more decentralized in distribution. Lots of good things happening regardless of price action.

In order to find out who is interacting on the IQ Network, we can: -Notify/Report to the Everipedia community when there is something that needs to be rejected... particularly when a user describes the issue: plagiarism, spam, trolling, etc. -Query a reputational database that determines who is trying to manipulate the system (based on editors' feedback). In other words, people can say that a specific account is plagiairizing content, spamming, trolling... pushing edits that are in bad faith -Distribute a public directory of known malicious users of the IQ Network. -Rank users over time based on the quality of edits (based on the Accept/Reject ratio) Of course, we would need to build our own features for something like this. i.e. 'commenting on proposed edits using radio buttons.' e.g. I'm rejecting this edit because... -It's a 'fake edit' (the person didn't add anything) -It's an act of plagiairism -etc. We can then take that data and use it in practical ways.

Every transaction on EOS takes a little computational power which depends(limited) to the number of tokens you have staked for CPU/bandwidth. Staking EOS tokens could help you making few transactions like transfers, staking and interacting on a Dapp like DICE/Murmur. Also staking help you collecting air dropped tokens of different dApplications. As a stakeholder you need to vote for BPs you feel have values and promises to keep the network decentralised, which indirectly adds value to the tokens.

Being crypto investor I would believe easily when someone says 2019 is going to be spectacular But I would like to talk logically, with facts n numbers

It's a fact that the market is significantly down from its all time high. But is it as lowest? I have a lot of regard to the theory of planned manipulation. Basically market makers have forced the prices low so they can buy in cheap right in time for ICE BAKKT (NYSE), Fidelity and the NASDAQ products to hit the space in Q1 2019. I hope we see lower lows it will mean higher highs when the market flips modes. I Could be wrong but we are in the business of speculation.

Manipulation is rife in every facet of life. Above all we all want to back the project that will make a significant and better change and overturn archiac institutions. Amounsgt all the crypto projects on offer my research and my intuition based on 30+ years of life suggests EOS is the one.

I understand both sides. B1 will want to release it based on risk and strategy. Naturally, us the community want it now. I'll be happy if it comes before the end of Feb...then yeah my patience will be tested.
