I know a few people that used exodus and never had a problem, are you sure you never entered your private key into any websites? tried to claim an airdrop or anything? they may have been lucky i think they only used it to register before mainnet and get their private keys

I'd approach from this angle but all my other tokens from Exodus were taken along with my EOS... The only time I pulled my private key was to attach simpleos wallet... Thank you though... I'm just bowing my head and walking away from this though... Unless you think there is any action that is worth taking.

Out of the 500 or so people competing in each hackathon, I’d estimate only a small number of them are able to drop everything in their careers to pursue their hackathon idea. They will never get rid of the super delegates because then they lose the (cloaked) veto power that it gives. So they can allow people to think that their choice and freedom to choose is being excercised and respected in the early stages and when the final candidates are chosen, they scupper the ones who most likely will not be part of the svamp.

I’m reading different white papers, watching videos, reading what people write and this is just mind blowing what eos and eos.io in general is becoming. No BPs won't be freezing any account. Bithumb is in touch with some major exchages and have asked them tonfreeze hackers account. They are taking help of exchange networks and BPs are just trying to help with traking the account and transaction, also reaching out to exchanges. There are high chances that 4% won't be used and all the tokens in eosio.saving gets burned.

There's a retire command which could help with burning the tokens and removing from the supply. $ cleos push action eosio.token retire '["20.000 SYS", "my memo"]' -p [ where SYS is the token] The transaction needs to be signed by 15/21 BPs.

you'll have different public keys for owner and active too.. public keys aren't really used. Your eos account name is your EOS address

I mean operate as in, it's running on main net but github repo is closed source for some parts of the code. As in block.one being solely in control of the development path, and is the only entity (aside from users) who would make money from the success of the network. Like Facebook but with a user owned content model. As far as I see it, block.one could be hired to put Facebook on chain and to move their bsuiess model forward. Remove the risk of fb storing all the sensitive data, and be left with a much lighter business from a regulatory and risk perspective. In that way, block.one would be authors of the code but are contracted to fb to deploy it, maintain and improve it. Or, if they operate it, they create a fb competitor, deploy the software and run all aspects of the business internally. I think this is actually highly unlikely
