I mean the price trend. I invested a lot of time and effort in steemit, posted regularly, enjoyed It a lot and like my content, and had a lot of fans. But when you see after almost a year that my total earnings are as high as I make in one day at work, despite even winning a lot of contests there, it beats you down. My posts were elaborative and of high quality as I was often assured in the comments. I would love to continue to post, but without the humiliating earnings, seriously, I wouldn’t mind doing it for free, but on steemit you kind of feel embarrassed:)

the game stuidios are whats holding it back. its become custom to have ITEMS that cannot be transferd out side of the game its self now, - this way they remove markets. meaning if you want the skin too you have to buy it off them and not another person.

In my understanding, the BPs who are proposing something new, are inclined with what elephant in the room is suggesting and the wider community is suggesting. Like burn was recommended by b1. Also, proxies/vocal members are pushing for it. If the entities don't take the right decision or try to power grab or become corrupt. Welcome other EOSIO based chains. They will lose much if they don't make sound decisions which benefits the network and the community. I agree that stakeholders are lazy and don't act fast, but dApp business would look for stability and port to the network which counters any corruption and is far away from power grab. This is true, but like seeks like. Power will always seek to concentrate. The balance to that concentration is decentration/decentralization. Unfortunately the structure to decentrate this power is week. Once started there will be a proponderance of forces to further concentrate power. I feel that Dan knows this. The vote is truly powerful as a voice to balance, yet there is no incentive to concentrate power in that direction, at least not one equally as powerful as the forces that exist to further concentrate power.

DAGs try to decentralise POW (POW can be done by the individual issuing the transaction - i.e. the user), but as IOTA shows, that creates the challenge of coordinating, and IOTA looks to be moving towards a delegation model for validating POW, using 'star nodes'. So I guess that is delegation at another level - in that case the level of validating and keeping records. Their discussion about how to remove the coordinator is quite interesting, although I'm quite a way behind on the state of the art there.

If you want a WPS that isn’t Sybil resistant then you get to centralisation x2 as quick as the BPs will go for both pots 1% BP Pay + 1% WPS.

An element of both would still trickle to consensus makers. But that would be preferable to a WPS that wouldn’t actually provide an opposing force (unless it was centralised with gatekeepers). If we do manage to come up with a sound solid solution, then we could always turn a proportion of the inflation back on again.

We need someone to do a serious take on this. Frankly I don't have the will to work on stating the obvious.

This is something that should rile up every EOS token holder. The same people who ignored the rules to collude themselves into the top 21 BP (paying positions) and were equally responsible for keeping any proposal from passing (by not voting) as the lazy non voting token holders, just took it upon themselves to usurp more power. The sole right to decide (15/21) which proposals get passed. This is completely unacceptable! They bypassed the requirements of 15% voter turnout to eliminate 15% voter turnout (and many other things). This is not the way change happens in a functional, balanced community! Now if voters who have not voted, including block one, do not step up and speak out to overturn this, we have created permanent positions of power and the next thing they go after is the eosio.saving honeypot.
