I'm NOT afraid of the superbug and I think it's mostly just hyped up by pharma interests. Try colloidal silver instead to fix your infections.

Its a typical risk analysis scenario. If my kid can die from some horrible disease with a good chance of getting it I'll take the vaccination risk. I agree it's difficult to know, but taking one versus taking 30 is not the same. My children got zero shots as there is no risk where I'm living

Are you serious? What authority do you have to say that? Of course they go through the same rigors as medicine. As with anything, effects can take a long time to bear out and things may come up later.

Perhaps - that should change. A major problem is too much emphasis in the world today, is offloading all of the responsibility to research absolutely everything yourself. It isn’t feasible. If we want to move forward as a species, there needs to be a level of trust in experts. We could all argue this until the sun goes down. The bottom line is, if we aren’t arguing this, it would be something else, because in a world of complexity, nobody can research everything personally

We tend to walk around, confident in our mental faculty, and never bother to question our knee-jerk judgement--despite how easy it is to demonstrate the ineptitude of human judgement on matters of nature, logic, probability, etc. I always see this as a struggle between people who think humans are fundamentally good and intuitive, and people who think we are bad and mere evolutionary chimps (I started in the first camp and have moved more and more into the second)

Choice is good. I chose to vaccinate my toddler, and want to be able to make that choice for my next child as well. Many parents just want the best for their children.

I find it disappointing that you find it disappointing. You seem to have abandoned science and accepted a conclusion with no further research needed. If the world was freed of people who disappoint you then all inquiries into the nature of climate change would end except that which reaffirms your religious faith in your mental model of reality.

What makes you say I have abandoned science, when I try to align my views with those that science produces? You are right that the nature of science is to inquire, but the point of science is to create theories that explain and predict, it's a constant job, no one is saying it's 100% complete or perfect. The current model that man has a big impact on cc via co2 has the greatest explanatory and predictive power out of all alternatives. If something better existed you bet it would have been adopted by now. The same with contemporary vaccination. Most of its benefits have been observed and especially accounting for the outlier cases. To claim otherwise you would have to produce extraordinary evidence, evidence which would have surfaced by now. Nothing from the openly anti-vaccine or anti-cc scientists has even come close to the rigor produced by this "mainstream science" you seem to be so skeptical of. Again, I urge you to properly analyze the mainstream science and why it has produced the results it has, and alternatively, to produce the evidence which you claim is enough to trump the existing evidence in favor of cc and mandatory vaccination

I think your argument on vaccines would be comparable to me making the argument that vaccines make you live longer and that’s why life expectancy goes up. There's no wild cases of polio being sorted yet it's still a regular part of the vaccination program. I mean, chances are GOOD that if you consult an expert, it's better than 99.99% of the info you'll get from an online crypto community, but I'd still like to hear from both sides and make my decision based on both schools of thought. Vaccines are too easily corrupted in my opinion and the tests and studies performed are lacking long term results for a worldwide panic. Look up Judy Mikovits. Look up William Thompson. Look up Andrew Wakefield. You think it's safe as professional o come out with the truth? One of my best friends worked for about 8 years at the NIH. I visited him and hung out with his friends who joked openly about fusing data to get the results which would prolong their grants.

How many people here realize that not one vaccine has ever been tested against a real placebo, except one? All vaccine safety studies use a control as their placebo which contains all of the toxic ingredients as the vaccine minus the primary antigens. They do this so they can claim that the adverse effects between the 2 groups are equivacle and therefore no increased risk of harm is seen from the vaccines.
