Because they paid for the ram that the blockchain uses to record your tokens. If you claim it, you assume the ram cost (which is tiny) and also assume ownership via participation. Any unclaimed tokens will be removed from the unwanted accounts and the developers will recover their ram costs. It's entirely up to you, but I hope you claim them.

The account is yours and the tokens are yours (if you want them) but the row that records your tokens on the blockchain costs a tiny amount of RAM and that still belongs to PEOS team who paid for that. It's not an "airdrop" which is where devs pay for the ram and everyone gets tokens no matter what. This is an airgrab model where they assume the initial costs and each individual can grab the tokens by paying for the ram which makes it much less prohibitive to developers. It's genius really.

But doesn’t it seem odd how the little person always suffers in the end and never gets ahead. 10 years from now we will have AI, Robots, mass 3d printing, blockchains merged with everything private and public and will the END USER really benefit and get somewhere or will we still be a divided society by hierarchy that is decided by who you know and how much money you have more than what you know and what you build??

Sociology is the hardest of all the sciences because for us is tremendously difficult to think with proper distance from ourselves. (am not a native english speaker sorry). The thing is.. what I wanted to tell you is that your potential will be incredibly augmented if you approached some serious sociologists (some that dont even have a degree) and specially some sociologist that are not blind by the "amercian" way of thinking

Ideally we would break up the USA into individual counties.

Ideally, the largest political entity should be one individual. But yes, if each county was an independent political entity, that would be a start. As you know Dan, there was supposed to be 50... these United States of America... but political power seems to want to consolidate.
