For users who didn't register on time, block producer candidates have confirmed that they will be working on a fallback solution for people who didn't register on time. They have moved those funds to one wallet and once the fallback solution becomes avaliable they'll be able to honour those users accounts. In the meantime, just wait and be patient. Don't do anything drastic like give out your privet keys. Wait for the tools to become avaliable and wait on sources you trust to say that it's safe to do so. Best of luck.

Erc-20 tokens in private wallets are frozen. Erc-20 tokens on exchanges are still moving because they are doing their own swap. Once erc-20 is frozen it is gone for good

Yes you can buy on binance but since you don’t have it in a private wallet or an exchange that agrees to do airdrops, you will not qualify for drops associated with the genesis snapshot

Your private key should not have been generated by your mew. When your created your public key you should have gotten an eos private key also. If you haven’t you can always generate on using eoscafe

You need to have your public and private eos keys, the print out I told you to make from eospia gave you your rank, eos name, public eos key and the public eth wallet it is associated with. If you never generated a private key use the tool created by eoscafe and generate a private key

Basically, yes. Exchanges use placeholders for your balance and your balance doesn't go onto the blockchain until you withdraw your funds. This allows them to continue trading and why they have suspended withdraws until the swap.

If you registered your wallet then you should have gotten a pair of EOS keys. These will be used when a wallet becomes available. It's best to wait until the dust settles and more information is provided by trusted block producer candidates. Best of luck.

It's impossible to transfer the erc-20 tokens because they're now frozen forever.

Block producer candidates have confirmed that they will be working on a fallback solution for people who didn't register on time. They have moved those funds to one wallet and once the fallback solution becomes avaliable they'll be able to honour those users accounts. In the meantime, just wait and be patient. Don't do anything drastic like give out your privet keys. Wait for the tools to become avaliable and wait on sources you trust to say that it's safe to do so. Best of luck.

Are you saying you didn't register your ledger's address? I hope there's an outgoing transaction (of any kind and from any time in the past) from your ledger's address? Otherwise the fallback won't cover you.

Can't remember seeing you ask. If the exchange supports the swap then all you need to do is wait until the token swap.

You may have missed the airdrops that have occured but will be able to recieve future ones if you have them in a wallet that you control the keys for. Exchanges may honour the airdrops as well but it's been common for them not to so it's been best practice to move them to your own wallet. Best of luck.

Hello Jay. The 24 words and the private key are not the same. But from the 24 words you can generate the private key, if you know the algorithm that your device uses. 24 words are just easier to type than the private key.

Logo sizes actually help emphasize the size of their companies. Multi-nationals & Fortune 1000 companies like Samsung & Line for ICON or TMX stock exchange, Deloitte, Vodafone & Moog for AION, have bigger logos than Dapps that are mostly just ideas on whitepaper with 2 or 3 devs

Private key is best. With this you can access your address from almost every wallet. But the 24 word algorithm is also a standard, most wallets will also be able to read it or you can convert it with free SW (just be ware to do it only offline). As long as you have the 24 words you are ok.

User satisfaction and adoption levels and, importantly, being able to provide an expectation as to when users financial assets are available should definitely be a criteria. Plus there isnt a decentralization, otherwise you wouldn’t need a voting process would you?

Block producer candidates have confirmed that they will be working on a fallback solution for people who didn't register on time. They have moved those funds to one wallet and once the fallback solution becomes avaliable they'll be able to honour those users accounts. In the meantime, just wait and be patient. Don't do anything drastic like give out your private keys. Wait for the tools to become avaliable and wait on sources you trust to say that it's safe to do so. Best of luck.

I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that this pooling of funds to one address relates to ethereum addresses for which the fallback method fails. For addresses where the fallback works, the snapshot script essentially auto-registered them by generating an eos public key for them. People can then use the fallback option to generate a compatible eos private key from their ethereum private key. Can anyone confirm or refute this for me?
