Okay, I gotta turn in. Been up 22 hrs to facilitate the final countdown. My final thoughts for the day: EOS is a chance for the people to claim an economic system that leapfrogs all existing ones. The birth is a little messy -- that's how births go. But we have come a very long way with remarkably few snafus because a group of highly competent coders and testers (the Launch Group BPCs of which I am proud to be a member) worked with Dan and Block One to transition from dream to reality. And we are ALMOST THERE. So try to look past the small inconveniences at this moment and remember the big picture of financial freedom from governments and corporations. Go EOS!

Here's what we should have done, or future forks should do... 1) list minimum infrastructure and technical requirements to be a qualified BP candidate asap. Unbiased aside from that. 2) registration and candidate approval for those who meet requirements and an official, living (can be updated if candidates drop out or others who meet requirements join) list of verified candidates available to public. 3) Candidates officially campaign months or at least weeks in advance of registration deadline. 4) registration of EOS ERC20 tokens smart contract has option to vote built in. No exchanges get vote, only registered accounts off exchange to keep things fair and reward those who believed in EOS enough to lock in. This way all voting is also on Blockchain. 5) after registration process announce top # of candidates with most votes as elected BPs and standby nodes. They then get together and decide to launch or not based on security assessment and review. 6) Launch whenever ready no need to come again it's already happened. This way is so much better... We would have prevented stupid candidates that had no business there from stalling unnecessarily and made everything much more transparent and smooth.

IDK.. I think when we go live it may have the opposite effect. More incentive to vote and keep your tokens staked and your BPs in their seats. Right now whales have no incentive to hold on exchanges really. They can just splash around and accumulate more while everyone freaks out. When 15% is reached it will change the dynamic entirely.

It's matter if he wants to do more right? If you get from exchange, let them handle the swap and stop reading into whole bunch of nonsense and airdrops, then it's not differences than any others coins. If the exchange decides ti support airdrops, good. Also, It's not as if you must vote or lost the coin.

Scatter uses your private key to sign for your vote, but it's important to note that the private key DOES NOT leave Scatter. You can use Scatter to vote on EOSPortalio.com Keep in mind that Scatter is included in the EOSAuthority instructions AND the BP announcement on Steemit When making your key pair, simply insert your private key into the right field on Scatter, and then it will automatically load your public key. After that, it is a simple case of linking that to your identity and you're good to go. And again, this is all shown on the Scatter tutorial video
