'EOS' is a software. I assume you mean you don't have any information from Block.one, the creators of EOS. But Block.one is not involved in running the blockchain. There are plenty of wallets. Greymass is a great option and has been publicly endorsed by many top BPs.

It's not their job to post a pinned message for the wallets. Because they aren't endorsing any wallets. Don't you get that? As far as wallets, many answers have been provided to you - Guarda, Greymass, Scatter, cleos, to name a few.

@Dan Laramar.. I don't know that much, but if blockchain is unhackable. Can't an exchange site be built on a blockchain for the purpose of being hack proof?... Seems like exchanges are being hacked every week. Also, another thought cant exchanges just link into our wallets so any transactions have to be submitted by the wallet owner vs. $ sitting on the exchange. Just a thought.

That is why I beleive that eos governance must incorporate extreemly strict limitations. Anyone can own up to 10% of a block producer. Nothing stops them from owning 10% of other BP'S too. This potentially can create a new cartel. Not many eos whales due to the nature of the crowdsale and heavy distribution through exchanges. So bravo eos.

No need to get sassy, my friend. This is still a very young blockchain. There are many out there who are not as tech savvy and do not understand how to vote. There are some that do not even care how to vote. I imagine the ones who do not care to vote, are not really seeing a reason at this moment, as they are not seeing much of a change one way or the other. In time, if a bad actor has an effect on them, I think they will see the need to vote.

I think you’re overlooking math. If 10 whales team up and buy 10% each, they will own 100% of the network, at which point it’s a circle jerk and irrelevant, because during their accumulation they made the minnows rich in the process. This stands true all the way down to around 33% of the network

You used to be able to see your private key thru the EOS interface is where you bought your tokens but that’s gone

It was never stored there. It only ever gave you a specific private key once which you were supposed to keep securely yourself.

If you properly registered your tokens prior to main net launch the tokens in your MEW wallet are now useless. Instead you have a private key for your EOS Wallet.

That might be when they started the airdrop. Some airdrops can take as long as a month. But they shouldn’t if on the EOS network. Plus, they may have already done it, it just might not be showing up in our wallets yet, because most wallets are set up to show EOS

you can both deposit and withdraw from and to the main net providing your exchange allows it. From the EOS mainnet point of view there is no obstacle

EOS is a software. Block.one is the creator of that software, but they are not endorsing any wallets.

I know it is against the ideas of decentralization to some, but decentralization is costly, and should be used efficiently when needed. Thousands of hours have already been spent on directing people around to different links, answering repeats, and so on. Time for a centralized yet permissionless point that links to all relevant links people care to map.

You will get max you staked for if all system resources - cpu/bw - are exhausted. If not, your unused share may be used by others - until you start using it. RAM is reserved and can not be shared by others - hope this clarifies

RAM has to be bought. There's a fee for buying and selling it. Staking for net and CPU are different and there's no 'charge'
