AWS or Google may very well have zero clue about what's even being run within the BP accounts there, not to mention the insane ability to scale in real-time using cloud providers. BP only have 1 real function ... that is to produce and validate blocks ... the rest of the other functions are secondary. If you cannot do the primary function well, you are not qualified. I have arrived here at the direction of the eos abritration page. I am one of those folks (or idiots) who lost his private key aftering registering through mew/trezor. I was told by a few block producer candidates to file a claim with arbitration... BUT the arb site specifically states no claims r/t erc crowdsale, crowdsale contract addresses, etc. And that I should direct my question to rescouces such as here...so, I have every last bit of information possible except for the damn private key. Can anyone here throw me a bone on what I can do 2 help move myself along in the process of recovering my tokens?

I know we had till june 2nd to do it while it was still and ERC-20 token . The increasing percentage of eos committed to voting has nothing to do with this number. In order for it to increase you need not just more people voting, but more people voting **at the same time**. The number 40 is a maximum reached, it doesnt say that it is consistently at 40 tps. Maybe it was a single peak and now it is at 1 tps - i dont know. My point was that 40 tps is not at all dog slow, thats all :)

If you contributed ether to the distribution smart contract before June you'll have eos on the eos blockchain now, even if you didn't claim the ethereum tokens. Airdrops vary, so you'll have to look at how each one works. This isn't the place to discuss them though.
