That's not my understanding of it, they are simply a BP who have decided to use the eosDAC to encourage EOS holders to vote for them.

I'm pretty sure they are a fork chain and will be a BP for both chains if they get voted to be a BP for the main chain... If not they'll just BP for their own and put offers out there for other EOSsac BP candidates

They will register them on your behalf, in other words, they should have been included in the genesis snapshot. As for the airdrops, you'd need to move your EOS coins safely from Binance after the launch of the mainnet so that you own the private key and not Binance. After you do that, you should start receiving most airdrops. Just be careful regarding which EOS wallet to use, there is no safe/secure option yet.

Scatter does not register your EOS tokens. The key pair which you generated is not useful at this stage, it will become useful after the launch of the mainnet. The EOS coins that have been included in the final EOS snapshot is final, there's nothing you can do right now to add any address to it, it's frozen until the chain goes live.

Actually he would have missed any airdrop that happened before the final snapshot, namely eosDAC and EVO (Evolution). He will also miss a few of the coming ones that relied on that final snapshot as you have highlighted.

The EOS are never in Trezor, the private key is. Trezor simply unlocks your MEW wallet where the EOS ERC-20 tokens are. It sounds to me that you have forgotten to register your EOS, do you mind sharing your ETH public address where the EOS ERC-20 tokens are so I could check for you if they have been included in the genesis snapshot or not? You can share it with me privately.

Scatter is not a voting tool. "Scatter is a way to sign transactions and provide private data without exposing keys and unnecessary information while interacting with web applications communicating with the EOS & Ethereum Blockchains." In other words, when you use Scatter, you are not exposing your private keys to the Internet. Just make sure you have downloaded/installed the correct Scatter version, will send you a video link regarding that. It is at the moment one of the safest ways, however, caution is always advised at this stage of the game.

If I wasn’t a BP, I would also be frustrated to be completely honest. I completely understand you. I’ll try to put my reasoning as clear as I can put it. But I can’t and won’t apologize for the no-go vote this morning. Even if I knew that many people would be upset by the decision, I would make it again. I’m a developer, not a politician— I’m looking at this on a technical standpoint, and whether some people will be happy or not is the next priority. If all of the features work as they are supposed to, then I would love to vote yes. As mentioned earlier, I would love to get this chain up as soon as possible. Then we can get rewards for all the time we’ve been putting into this. But when I was testing the software last night, I found problems when trying the most basic functionalities. 1. I tried to get account info on the accounts existing on the blockchain. Some existing accounts would not return their information. I filed this issue as soon as I found it and Dan was quick to fix it. But in order to launch a chain with these fixes we had to wait for the v1.0.2 tag which only came out today. 2. I tried to make transfers between accounts. This is one of the fundamental features of EOS. If transferring your tokens from an account to another doesn’t work correctly, we’ve got problems (I’m sure you can agree). When I send 100.0000 EOS to another account, I got an output indicating that the transaction worked. The balances in both accounts changed. But a few seconds later, the balance was reverted back to normal. Let’s say we went into mainnet with this version of code. You send your friend 1000 tokens from your wallet and it decreases your balance. It says that your transaction went through. But several seconds later that balance comes right back into your account. Well, what if your friend quickly used up the tokens you sent him? Would you still get it back? How do you know for sure if a transaction goes through? I saw uncertanties and problems with a fundamental feature, which is why I was concerned. If there’s a problem in the software that significantly impact its use for both end users and developers, or maybe even corrupt the chain, I will vote for a no go. It’s black and white for me there. I’ve heard that some of these issues have been fixed, which is great. It’s very close, and I think that I would vote Go in the next meeting too, unless a huge chain-breaking concern is raised. Let’s be fair. The developers that are testing the software extensively to allow fixes on those bugs to happen are not the bad guys. It’s our duty to launch and maintain a working chain, and we need the support to do our job.

[Forwarded from Jae Chung - HKEOS] If I wasn’t a BP, I would also be frustrated to be completely honest. I completely understand you. I’ll try to put my reasoning as clear as I can put it. But I can’t and won’t apologize for the no-go vote this morning. Even if I knew that many people would be upset by the decision, I would make it again. I’m a developer, not a politician— I’m looking at this on a technical standpoint, and whether some people will be happy or not is the next priority. If all of the features work as they are supposed to, then I would love to vote yes. As mentioned earlier, I would love to get this chain up as soon as possible. Then we can get rewards for all the time we’ve been putting into this. But when I was testing the software last night, I found problems when trying the most basic functionalities. 1. I tried to get account info on the accounts existing on the blockchain. Some existing accounts would not return their information. I filed this issue as soon as I found it and Dan was quick to fix it. But in order to launch a chain with these fixes we had to wait for the v1.0.2 tag which only came out today. 2. I tried to make transfers between accounts. This is one of the fundamental features of EOS. If transferring your tokens from an account to another doesn’t work correctly, we’ve got problems (I’m sure you can agree). When I send 100.0000 EOS to another account, I got an output indicating that the transaction worked. The balances in both accounts changed. But a few seconds later, the balance was reverted back to normal. Let’s say we went into mainnet with this version of code. You send your friend 1000 tokens from your wallet and it decreases your balance. It says that your transaction went through. But several seconds later that balance comes right back into your account. Well, what if your friend quickly used up the tokens you sent him? Would you still get it back? How do you know for sure if a transaction goes through? I saw uncertanties and problems with a fundamental feature, which is why I was concerned. If there’s a problem in the software that significantly impact its use for both end users and developers, or maybe even corrupt the chain, I will vote for a no go. It’s black and white for me there. I’ve heard that some of these issues have been fixed, which is great. It’s very close, and I think that I would vote Go in the next meeting too, unless a huge chain-breaking concern is raised. Let’s be fair. The developers that are testing the software extensively to allow fixes on those bugs to happen are not the bad guys. It’s our duty to launch and maintain a working chain, and we need the support to do our job.

Allow me to give the channel a brief update. The BPs met for a brief meeting at 13:00 UTC today and confirmed that ABP selection is progressing and will be ready for the next Go/No Go vote at 01:00 UTC. Various issues have been resolved with voting and we are looking into the next call being live streamed. Otherwise with an upgrade between v1.01 and v1.02 backwardly compatible all indications are positive in my view that we will be voting Go for launch in 11hrs from now. EOS42 intends to vote Go based on all information at this time.

There aren’t any critical bugs anymore. That’s why we’ve been consistently voting GO but some BPs won’t and also won’t give a reason why. We suspect THEY are not ready and are delaying the chain because of their lack of preparation.

I encourage everyone to take note of the BPs that are voting NO GO and not giving a reason to justify their vote. People like that should not be voted in.

There were no P0 or P1 errors meaning that there wereno dangers of any lost of funds. The mainnet was ready for launch. Dan clearly came out to point this out. Those who voted no are not convinced because they are no ready because they have not finished their "testing". If they are not ready, then dont vote "No". It would of been great to have EOS GO doing their live stream updates on YouTube with BP's. It was a way to ask questions and easy access for the layman. May of helped to clear up some of the confusion but it will eventually all come together and this will be forgotten

It sounds like you didn't register your ethereum address. Had your ethereum address made a successful outgoing transaction before the tokens were frozen? If you're unsure, put your address in at eosauthority.com and see if you have an eos public key and account name. If you do, you can use the fallback method to generate your eos private key (from your ethereum private key) which you'll be able to use to access your eos account when the blockchain is ready.

Ethereum circulation was less than 100 million , EOS circulation is 7 times of ETH. EOS is at 14$, mc of $10B, to get to $1400 , A mc of $200B can only get EOS to $390

I'm estimating 30x which would be 420. Remember it's going to the number 2 position. Btc only need 5x for eos to 30x.

the amount for voting/ deploying smart contracts is different.. for smart contracts you would need enough eos to cover the bandwith/ram needed to run the contract

Totally agree, rushing things just for the sake of it is not the right move, all the complainers will be up in arms too if something goes wrong. Let everyone cross the Ts and dot the Is and when ready, things will hopefully the go smoothly.
