Most voters vote because they have been influenced directly or indirectly by marketing and not because they have extensively researched which BPs are the best. And most people are followers by nature, so they end up following the herd. Based on that, why not provide voters the option to randomly vote for up to 30 of the first 100 BPs for instance? This feature could be added to wallets such as Greymass. Over time, that random selection will shuffle the cards enough to make the outcome less predictable and therefore more difficult to manipulate by whales. It will also give more hope to the BPs that are on standby, almost like the anticipation of winning the lottery. From another user.. but I liked the idea of true decentralization via randomization of BPs... either built in code or via wallets .. can further be decentralized via IP mapping allowing only one BP from a particular region or not allowing a single BP to produce blocks long time with bp switching built in code every 10 minutes for example

Even if this is true whales can still influence who gets to be in top 21. Why not include a built in lottery code for BP selection along with Ip, time based restrictions on BPs and achieve true decentralization

It's not that simple. No one can send your tokens to another address without your signature, which is generated with your private key.

It's not that simple. No one can send your tokens to another address without your signature, which is generated with your private key.

Private keys are unknown to accounts. Only the public key (owner) is known.

as long as every 3 years you make at least 1 transaction, even a decentweet would be enough or voting, your account is safe. if not you are assumed dead and the resources you are blocking (e.g. the ram all the block producers are reserving for you in the precious ram) are deleted and the tokens disassociated and distributed. definitely up for debate, but the idea is sound if you understand that eos resources and especially the ram is rare and valueable

yep. right now 2: one for owner permission that can change the keys on the account, and another one for active permission that can do pretty much everything else. the active key you're supposed to put into wallets, the owner key you keep safe offline as much as possible.

How can I get evolved in the EOS space?

Send 0 ETH via MEW/Exodus wallet: 1. Open your MEW/Exodus wallet, go to ethereum, go to "Send" 2. Paste in the address ( the "send" button will still be disabled ) 3. The amount defaults to 0.00, add another zero to it to make it 0.000 and this "enables" the send button. The gas price is equivalent to 3 cents. Once you send your 0 ETH you receive the drop immediately - Just check your EOS token/ETH address at etherscan .io
