There's always a workaround. Can always exchange the EOS for ETH on their exchange, and in a matter of minutes transfer it to an exchange that does accept EOS deposits and withdrawls, then exchange the ETH for EOS without losing much, and possibly gaining. Then, send to your greymass wallet. That's exactly what i'd do if my EOS were on Binance.

Excuse the potentially noob question, but I couldn't see a clear answer in the thread search, or anywhere I've googled. I've had registered my EOS in MEW at the time of the snapshot. So I understand my EOS are now on the EOS mainnet. But I'm not getting whats now happening with the Airdrops. Are they looking at MEW and dropping there? Are they looking at the mainnet and dropping...er.. where? How do I see where the airdrops I'm assumably getting are arriving? My guess is this all slowly points towards having an EOS wallet, but its my take-away that there isn't yet a clear wallet of choice. So does this mean that my EOS airdops, if on the EOS mainnet (vs ETH) are floating around until I have them in a wallet that pulls them all together? As you can see.. I'

Could you please explain this? I did the address registration process. When I go to my EOS pub address via explorer, in "balance", it shows much, much less tokens than I had ERCs, however, in "Value" it shows the right amount in USD. How the hell this whole thing works? I'm very much confused

I have loast my EOS rec20 token that were in my IDEX deposit wallet and I don't know how to get it back. on May 26th I transferred approximately 519 EOS erc20 tokens into my IDEX deposit wallet from MEW thinking ti would be safe to leave it there. When I checked again yesterday, something was wrong. It was there but I couln't access it because ti was locked. I contacted IDEX about getting my EOS erc20 tokens back and they said that the EOS erc20 tokens are now locked due to the launch of the EOS mainnet and that I should contact EOS directly to get it resolved. please help me get my tokens back. I am sure there are others in a similar situation to me. I have attacted some information regarding my locked EOS erc20 tokens in IDEX.

IMO the wallets are easy to use just now. I can’t really comment on if they’ll be easier in the future. At present, there’s no mobile wallet apps that have been recommended by BPs but I wouldn’t imagine it’ll be too long before they become available.

OK let me ask you a simple question , imagine govts across the world decided to ban Crypto at any cost and they decided seize the servers etc... So they come at eos try to seize say top 5-6 BPs eos network goes down for 3 minutes the back up BPs will kick in most users won't notice the difference... Now coming to bitcoin say they seize top 3 mining farms they can literally control the whole coin forever .... Does it make sense ??

What happens as a result is the mining competition coming down. And suddenly every Joe will be able to mine using an ordinary desktop. That will bring in millions of mining nodes to the network from around the globe, which will be even harder for the governments to overcome. The sure way to make bitcoin fail is to shut down the internet, an option that is also impossible given critical services around the globe now depend on the internet. The best and practical option the government has right now to make bitcoin fail is to use propaganda and public relations to dissuade the general public from looking into the direction of bitcoin. That could be done for example by portraying it as an enabler of crime or as a danger to the security of the general public. But even that will work in the short term.

all eos community members need to have an equal say in eos, the voting system needs to put everyone on the same footing, one solution would be to have eos holders who are interested in voting associate their digital finger print on the chain to their account(s) to ensure a one to many relationship so the system knows all the resources the user has, regardless of how many accounts they may possess, while still protecting privacy and guarding against corruption, this would also serve as an extra security layer which could eliminate phishing scams.

This way, if a whale wishes to self-vote, then let them tediously split and try to manage thousands of accounts, each with still a substantial amount of EOS if they wise to maximize their voting power. They will of course have to then make sure to keep all those accounts active, and revote constantly to keep themselves as BP. Adding on to my post earlier about log scaling, another suggestion I had made previously on top of this is to introduce a criteria whereby a minimum of independent voters would need to be met. Could even throw in a geographical diversity of voters requirement. Its not fool proof, but adds layers of tediousness and hopefully also **cost** against self voting whales. More layers of anti-oligarchy protection could be gradually introduced, and to create a more democratically balanced ecosystem, where even those with 100 EOS tokens have some say (against the whales)."
