guys i need some serious help here. Everytime i key in my private key be it in eosc or scatter, i get this pub key in return EOS8K5ukGvwnSZpMxxRaq2nT5nAEbhTp28FdasYwKSxkwweynAFkT which is an unregistered acct. However, during registration, my eth address was registered under this pub key EOS7VbK36fjs4dNJGrjkaUTErvJaKLMTnYUSsmepxanoT913oYJ4n which has a user acct registered to it. I believe i am paired with a wrong private key.... or maybe even a fraud intended. this is my eth address 0x28cf2B78A44345f410AFA40c62c252BFB5131Cae and i have full ownership of the private key. I need help here I was using nadeje keygen during the registration process. Everything looks fine until when i wanted to vote now....

Since there's no capital gains on ram, do you get back the amount of eos you put into the ram staking contract and not based on the price of ram that day? ie: today you buy 1 eos worth of ram which say gets you 100 bytes. Tomorrow price of ram doubles from people buying it, and you decide to sell 50 bytes (half) of your ram. Do you get 0.5 eos back (original price), or do you get back 0.25 eos (today's price?

RAM is the only staking that gives you back EOS based on current price. Staking for votes or bandwidth returns the exact amount of EOS you put in.

Many BPs worked really hard to launch this chain. Most people probably don't know half of them since they did not have big PR or marketing campaigns, but that's OK. It takes a community to pull this off. We all knew some whales might just swoop in and pump up some BPs that maybe haven't done much, that's OK too. It's a decentralized world and this comes with the turf. We're just happy the network launched!

We're going to be getting dApps out of that 4 B. They are already working on something. I would rather they focus on a revolutionary dApp to bring mass adoption to EOS than some BS wallets and shit that the community can handle 100%. Unbiased aside from that. 2) registration and candidate approval for those who meet requirements and an official, living (can be updated if candidates drop out or others who meet requirements join) list of verified candidates available to public. 3) Candidates officially campaign months or at least weeks in advance of registration deadline. 4) registration of EOS ERC20 tokens smart contract has option to vote built in. No exchanges get vote, only registered accounts off exchange to keep things fair and reward those who believed in EOS enough to lock in. This way all voting is also on Blockchain. 5) after registration process announce top # of candidates with most votes as elected BPs and standby nodes. They then get together and decide to launch or not based on security assessment and review. 6) Launch whenever ready no need to come again it's already happened. This way is so much better... We would have prevented stupid candidates that had no business there from stalling unnecessarily and made everything much more transparent and smooth.

I think it's a big shit show right now and a lot of whales are not voting yet to stall launch while splashing around in the exchanges getting people to sell cheap before the network is live. When network goes live TONS of EOS goes to wallets to vote and are no longer in float. This is what I would do if I was a mega whale. Shake all the weak hands out of their EOS with a selloff and accumulate more for more voting power
