You can't liquidate on MEW as the EOS tokens on MEW are ERC20 tokens and are frozen forever. You'll be able to access your EOS from an EOS wallet with the EOS keys you got from registering. I recommend EOS Voter by greymass as it's a voting tool as well as a wallet. You'll also be able to liquidate your EOS from there. You'll need to unstake your EOS before you can transfer them. It takes 72 hours to unstake. Exchanges haven't opened up deposits and withdrawls yet. This is most likely because of the 72 hour wait for unstaking. You'll have to wait for further announcements from them regarding this.

are you sure ? ...actually interacting with smart contracts and sending 0 ETH usually means MEW sets the gas limit too low...this causes a lot of these sorts of transactions to run out of gas and fail....currrent ETH gas price is v low with 5 gwei for a fast transaction

The EOS on your mew are ERC20 tokens and were only used for the snapshot to verify how many EOS you had. Those tokens are now frozen forever. You can access your EOS from an EOS wallet with the EOS keys you got from registering. I recommend EOS Voter by greymass.

The constitution and governance is the problem. EOS can and will take your account is you hodl for 3 years without sending a transaction. This is no better than a government or bank locking or confiscating your account. I would be very worried if I was neck deep in EOS. Sorry, I really so hate spreading FUD. But as I said, it is literally part of the EOS constitution. Article XV.

Are there any BPs around currently? We have a huge issue with the way EON has conducted their "airdrop" and something should be done about it. They're lying to the community, trying to incite fomo (aka a riot, right?) and literally shilling their token through articles. The EOS tokens you have in mew are ERC20 tokens and were only used for the snapshot to verify how many EOS you had. Those tokens are now frozen forever. You’ll be able to access your native EOS from an EOS wallet using the EOS keys you got from registering your Ethereum address that held your EOS. I recommend using EOS Voter by greymass as it’s a voting tool as well as an EOS wallet.

The EOS tokens you have in Exodus are currently ERC20 tokens and were only used for the snapshot to verify how many EOS you had. Those tokens are now frozen forever. You’ll be able to access your native EOS on Exodus once they integrate EOS wallets into their application. If you can’t wait for that then you can access them now from an EOS wallet using the EOS keys you got from registering your Ethereum address that held your EOS. I recommend using EOS Voter by greymass as it’s a voting tool as well as an EOS wallet.

You’ll still get airdrops on Exodus as you hold the keys. They’ll be sent to your EOS address as long as you followed any of the requirements the airdrop may have had. Exodus posted an article about airdrops, which I’ve linked below, saying that you still get the airdrops. I would use greymass EOS-voter. It is a voting portal with a light wallet. Great team behind it and it has been validated by multiple BP's. In the wallet side you can unstake your EOS.

If you don’t need to use or transfer them then it’s perfectly fine just to leave them staked. In about 12 days or so people will be bidding on premium names, such as .eos .com etc. So you may want EOS for that if you’re interested in bidding for names.
