I sent some ETH to my MEW wallet so it would have an ETH balance and be able to accept EOS, but I never sent anything *from* my MEW wallet.

Eos associated with addresses for which fallback failed will be pooled to an address/account on the eos blockchain. If you wait long enough there may be a way for you to get it, probably through arbitration.

For users who didn't register on time, Bps have confirmed that they will be working on a backup plan for people who didn't register on time. They have moved those funds to one wallet and once the backup becomes avaliable they'll be able to honour those users accounts. In the meantime, just wait and be patient. Don't do anything drastic like give out your privet keys. Wait for the tools to become avaliable and wait on sources you trust to say that it's safe to do so. Best of luck.

You’re still able to buy on exchanges but make to purchase on exchanges that support the swap. Exchanges use placeholders for your balance and your balance only goes into the blockchain once you withdraw. This allows then to continue trading and why they have suspended withdrawals and deposits until the swap.

Guys, I have 120 EOS tokens. I own 1/8,333,333 of the bandwidth. At 10,000 TPS, that would be the equivalent of .0012 TPS. Even in two years, if EOS is valued at $100 bucks, a developer would pay $10,200 for such little TPS? I love EOS but I'm trying to wrap my head around it.

It's all good. I think a lot of apps will probably have some type of split between what is on/off chain. Like twitter for instance, actual twitter posts will be main chain transactions, off chain for likes and retweets.

Exchange have suspended withdrawals for now. You’re still able to buy on exchanges but make to purchase on exchanges that support the swap. Exchanges use placeholders for your balance and your balance only goes into the blockchain once you withdraw. This allows then to continue trading and why they have suspended withdrawals and deposits until the swap.

The ETH was just for the transaction you made with the contract. Yes, you can move your ETH.

Probably not. Most of the upcoming airdrops are based off of the genesis snapshot and are only dsitributing to those who own their key pairs. There may be more in the future with different criteria though.

To make the overall foundation of the decentralized system actually decentralized. If all of the BPs are from one region that's not exactly decentralized. Plus it's not the best situation to have if something were to happen to that region. I know that it can be voted to not all be focused in one region, but I just figured there would be some sort of rule already in place to prevent that.

Idk if this is it ezactly, but seems like they are thinking of starting voting soon on what they want to be "the" mainnet. That allows it to go live. Because all coins are staked, nothing major can happen for 3 days. Other mainnets will be testing for vunurabilities and if anything pops up, they can rollback to the last snapshot of blocks

I’m sure I’ve said this to you before Mike but I’ll give it another go. Block producer candidates have confirmed they are working on a fallback solution for people who didn’t register on time. The best thing to do is wait until the mainnet has launched and there is more info from BOs on what to do next. Don’t do anything drastic like give out your keys until you hear from trusted sources to do so.

Yeah, you will have to go through some type of validation transaction with your ethereum account to prove you own the associated 0x. The process hasn't been fully explained yet. Like I said, 99/9% sure you are fine.

You can. Exchanges use placeholders for your balance and your balance only goes onto the blockchain when you withdraw. This allows trading to continue and why they have suspended withdrawals and deposits until the swap. Just be sure that the exchange you use supports the swap.

No, there might still be a way to get your EOS. The block producer candidates have confirmed they’re working on a fallback solution for people who didn’t register on time. It’s best to wait until the mainnet has launched and more information is out out by the BPs and what to do next. Just be sure to keep your keys safe and don’t do anything until trusted sources say to do so.

Just to be clear it can be any transaction not just eos related stuff. If there really wasn't, the fallback won't work for you. You might be able to get your eos from a pool of tokens set up in the genesis block through arbitration, but you'll probably have to wait quite some time.

If you didn't register and there's an outgoing transaction from your address you can use fallback. If you used a hardware wallet you need to use your mnemonic seed phrase to generate your ethereum private key (read up on security best practices first) by using a bip39 tool such as https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/ ( https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 ), then you can use fallback. If there's no outgoing transaction you're eos will be in a pool in the genesis block and you may be able to get it if you wait long enough (likely through arbitration on the eos blockchain).
