Hi, i have the same problem as David, i generated fallback keys but what next? How to do anything with eos?

You should now be able to access your EOS from an EOS wallet with those keys. I recommend EOS voter by greymass as it’s a voting tool as well as a wallet.

What “wallet” you use should not matter, unless you find a wallet that makes registering for them easier. Any registered key-pair (Created pre go-live or by a wallet) should be eligible. You will have to go find the token creating projects and see if there is a registration process on their web site. Some will just snapshot the entire chain and drop to any eligible address.

Some ppl are so impatience. EOS mainnet just activated. EOS is like a baby. I would not expect it's to stand yet along running. I'm in for the long term (in cryptoland that is 1-2 years). If you worry about price dropping in a short term, then you can invest in most coins and be a daytader. The price volatility is good for that. If you see EOS fundamental, developer teams, and the support community still sound then hodl EOS so one day it became an adult. Still you would never know the adult it turn out to be. Eos has several security features like enforcing time-delayed transactions. There's a lot you can do with permissions too - better than the usual multi-sig.

Don’t think so, they only announced a few. You have to move eos on your wallets to be sure you will not miss anything. But for now withdrawals are still not available

Yes. We are still adding infrastructure to finalize in seconds. That said an eos block after a few seconds is more final than a btc block.

You can. Scatter deals with ethereum and eos. The fallback method for people who didn't register their ethereum addresses requires people to generate an eos private key from their ethereum private key. In scatter you can paste in your ethereum private key, switch the dropdown from ETH to EOS, and it'll convert your ethereum key to an eos one. Then people have access to their eos account if they didn't register (if there was an outgoing transaction from their ethereum address before the snapshot).

This is kinda bs. A- that was 5 years ago. B- it was a critical bug with high consensus. C- look at that one time a mining pool got 51%, how fast people reacted and hashing power from individual miners that POINT their hashing power to those pools, moved to other ones. Last but not least. Study the great fork. Ull see how the mining consensus as well as the user operated economicly relevant node consensus played out against and with eachother.
