I bought one of the 7 accounts yesterday through a trade on bitrated.com. I acted in good faith and did my due diligence as far as I could. I did not know that the account was involved in a scam. How would I know? I feel horrible right now. This feels exactly like the banking system where a group of few have the power to rule over who gets their funds and who doesn't. I did not loose my private keys. I acted I good faith and made an honest purchase. I have all the documentation to prove it. I feel robbed by this system. Is this the precedent we want to set as a community before the blockchain is even launched?

On a block chain a coin is supposed to be fungible right? How are we meant to be able to transact if we always have to fear that a coin was stolen and might get blocked any moment? I did not know that the coins were involved in a scam, nor did I have the ability to find that out.

If someone walks up to you and gives you a dime and walks off, not sure how that can be a scam. Now if they ask you to send $100 to their aunt in Taiwan because she needs it to buy some marijuana for her barber who has severe glaucoma and then promises to pay you back with Bitcoin Cash in three years at 20% interest then that is likely a scam, but only because they are offering BCash.

You would have to contact the exchanges directly to get an answer. You are holding EOS ERC20 tokens in Jaxx, not EOS. The ERC20 tokens were just used for the snapshot to verify how many EOS you had. Those tokens are now frozen forever. You’re able to access your EOS from an EOS wallet using the EOS keys you got from registering your Ethereum address that held your EOS.

Originally I’ve registered my meta mask address then I moved the token to jaxx I don’t know exactly why. Possibly because in metamask there were no way to see the actual tokens and I was concerned. But the address is jaxx is not registered the same way as the one in metamask. This is the short sad story of me :)

We have no plans to support EOS airdrops in Exodus at the moment and you have a completely legitimate point saying that if we don't, then we're not the wallet you're looking for. Maybe at some point in the future, we will be able to support all EOS airdrops, but this will come with many changes in the interface and therefore, so this will take time. For now, it's probably best for you to use another wallet. I have not looked at all the EOS wallets out there therefore I cannot suggest you one able to fit your needs. We are working closely with SimplEOS and they offer a good import solution for Exodus users. Once again, I'm sorry that we were unable to provide you with the ideal wallet solution you and I wish you a great journey in the cryptospace. All the best, Camille

You can access them using your keys. Exodus might not support the airdrop within the app, viewing balances, sending, receiving etc. You’ll still get the airdrops though and access them with the keys you have for EOS on Exodus. Just use the keys on an EOS wallet.

No problem. Once you get the keys you’ll be able to access your EOS from an EOS wallet. I recommend EOS Voter by greymass as it’s a voting tool as well as a wallet. You can also use http://eosflare.io with your public key if you just want to view your balance.

RAM actually is for storing data like info of your account. You need to buy RAM, but you can sell it if you don't need it anymore. There's a EOS wallet that can buy RAM.

I mean think about EOS is like Ethereum platform, eth has erc20 dapps right? and eos have its dapps like erc20 tokens and you access them using your ethereum wallet. So you will have access eos based coins with your eos wallet.

But first eos wallet should support other dapps too, like ethereum, all wallets are not support erc20 tokens, forexmaple ledger wallet does not show erc20 tokens under your eth wallet address, but thats not mean they are not there. When you take a look using another interface like MEW you can see them.

As i said earlier, its need to be supported first then you can see it. Until than you just wait. Currently even on Ethereum all wallets are not support ERC20 tokens.

Do not consider regular Exchange tokens are in blockchain. They are making traffic one account to another one inside. Its not written in blockchain at all. Only if you witdraw or deposit is written on blockchain. So they can even continue trade when there is no blockchain exist on that coin at all. Like the EOS period from erc20 frozen until now

Facebook wouldnt be anything if it wasnt for myspace. I love ethereums idea, its just not good enough. I used to think it was, until i started learning the technicals and found fundamental flaws in how ethereum could be adopted and scaled. EOS addresses those issues.

Token renting sounds nice.....SMS Warnings? now that is something i havent even though of. It would be amazing if someone linked a sms-service to send you alerts for any activity on your wallet. I think cross-chain liquidity would be amazing. I am looking forward to not seeing any centralised exchanges, but instant-swap mechanics such as by Bancor or Loopring.
