nothing very official, but community incl. thomas cox from block.one have discussed ideas on how to handle people that didnt manage to register and give them tokens while avoiding any fraud. it sounds very doable to me and might be just a matter of time of getting the processes secured. launching the main net is priority for now.

Yes, they need to fix the issue. Yes the prices have settled but does not change the fact that every time people want to make an transaction you are changed even if it fails and you never know if the gas will fail. It is an issue, plus just 2 days ago they were basically at a standstill with transactions. That is a major issue that will prompt people to move away from their chain

Revenue from the distribution contract is going to vc funded projects, and creating and building stuff for many years to come. We're only at the starting line. Do you know the tokens going to block.one are vesting over 10 years? Anyway, I would say that the eosio software alone surpasses 'almost nothing' by a staggering margin.

yup, i'd suggest that anyone who has used exodus as their EOS wallet for registration purposes eventually export that wallet out to a more traditional wallet once the network is stable [however long that may take]....if they happen to honor all/most airdrops in the time being, they'll easily be found once the wallet is exported...i think that any BP or dapp developer of real substance will wait until the network on solid footing prior to releasing if they want maximum exposure....if we miss a few, so be it

You get all of them. They just need to be taken out of staking. Staking tokens is what allows you to perform any action on the network.

They are staked for the purpose of enabling you to **vote for chains** with your full weight **without having to be technical**.

Staking is a temporary state your tokens take when the chain launches. You can choose to unstake and 3 days later your tokens will be unlocked.

Block ones email platform was hacked so the emails user were sent looked legit. I think block one have some responsibility in that it was their support platform that the hackers used and it should have been more secure

Ahhh, you got caught up in that phishing scam a week or so ago with the launch and register. Blockone had a zen desk hack where many people who contacted blockone asking questions got a phishing email. The goal was to snatch private keys.

The zen desk was hacked and people including myself got messages to send private keys. Blockone admitted the emails did come from their desk but this happened over a week ago and people did fall for the scam and lost their tokens

Yes, do you have your key set? If you search for you wallet, you should get your associated public key and can generate a private key, but you really need to have kept the ones you registered your wallet with.

This really happened. The email didn't look scammy. It looked like their email because it did come from their desk. It related to what most people had questions about and registration of eos. I can send you what the official one looked like versus the scam and it is convincing. I just didn't fall for it.

most block producers don't even have a computer server admin on payroll. they are lining up to get votes and 7 million USD per year from EOS blockchain, but they don't have the skills to launch any mainnet. They are all waiting on a few BPs who do have developers and server admins.

they don't. They raise funds privately through VC funding to build their Dapp, theyn they air drop to create a disctributed community. Then if their dapps is good, their tokens will have value and the ones they retained are finan cial assets
