Look I'm not against all BP candidates but I think it's become clear to all who's done even a little in-depth research that some of these BP candidates are not ready to lunch. Guys, anyone can be a candidate. Apparently, The competent ones are working together to launch the chain. You and your friends can put together your own team and try to lock the chain if you want. After the launch, you can try to convince token holders to consider the chain to be the main net. I don't think it's fair to make blanket indictments of no-go Voters as trying to Short EOS. I think everyone's trying to do the right thing. At this point, I think it's a good idea to take Dan's advice and launch it.

I saw an idea about untouched genesis accounts being "claimable" after a year if someone proves they control the originating ethereum key. It's a case of waiting so far as I know, to see what happens...🤞

yes, but you said the bps should just launch on there own, they signed a agreement not to do so

They signed an agreement to have one main net. That does not mean the individual BPs can not launch on there own. It means that once the community decides on “Mainnet” determined by the volume of use the network gets, the other launched chains will stand-down and (promote themselves as secondary chains)

No. Having generated your eos private key puts you now in the same position as everyone who registered. You have your eos private key, and that's all you need when the time comes to access your account.

I hope and I trust that soon, we will all be breathing a little easier and the mainnet will be live. It's been stressful, but just think how utterly exciting it's going to be when this thing takes off. Just think of all the possibilities of this technology and consider how EOS is an expression of how human beings can cooperatively work together and without the invasiveness the comes from a violent centralized institution of authority aka government. Perhaps eos's governance system is not perfect. Considering that voluntary associations are the only legitimate associations, it is fair to say that as of now, this system of governance seems appropriate for the community. I would argue however, that it's always wise to consider options that might be more logically and morally aligned with your own preferences and understandings of what is good, as one can only speak for oneself, and should never allow others to speak without permission on his behalf. I just think these kind of understandings of individual sovereignty and also the ideas of property ownership that stem from the ideas of self ownership, which in turn support the idea of a free market, can manifest in the EOS community. I'm not a big bag holder, but I'm all in and I'm all in on the ideas of freedom and how this technology can bring humanity closer to true freedom.

i'd say be prepared to pick up some more EOS before that....i'd venture to say that the biggest dips will come earliest after release....once that first major vulnerability is found, or first major hickups...people will get scared, fud will kick in....and you should be able to scoop up on some pretty good deals....then just be prepared to sell some off during the release of good news as well....EOS is in its infancy...you should have plenty of opportunities to play the market to buy/sell a % and hodl the rest

it will be attached to the eos public key you submitted when registering the mew address. as long as you have the private key for that address you have full control over any tokens airdropped there.

No you're fine. Binance has a large wallet. They'll swap out your ERC-20 tokens for EOS tokens once the blockchain is live. I wouldn't transfer to Exodus until they confirm they've synced up their wallet to the EOS blockchain though

you (and a lot of other people that upvoted this shit) misunderstood how all of this works. they are not printing money for themselves. they are figuring out a way how the system can pay for its own setup. it's really not that black and white.

yes you are eligible for most of the airdrops. the good ones dont make you manually register, e.g. everipedia. they just automatically send to all eos holders. if you registered early enough then you should have also gotten at least one airdrop (eosdac) to your eth address in mew.
