They took a hard stance on the 10% ownership among other BP's because if you can control 10% of 10 BPO's then you can effectively use that collusion to influence the votes

The erc20 tokens over the last year are ethereum network. They need to swap for native eos network tokens after they finish launching the main network. Give it 48 hours before moving anything. Wait for official announcements from Block Producers.

It is probably safe.The BPs have agreed as a group not to endorse anything but cleos, but privately, it seems like some of the online wallets are good. Those that use Scatter are far better than web wallets. Please, don't trust those. Even if they are from trustworthy sources, bad actors can inject javascript code that could steal private keys. Scatter-based solutions are likely safe (certainly safer) but nothing is as safe as cleos. We are adding easy to use versions on our mainnet dashboard.

I do have another question. Will there be any place online where someone can see who the block producers are? The elected ones? I know voting is continuous and you can change with each cycle of 21 blocks, and one might think that as people get word about voting opening, more voting steaks would come onto the system, and block producers could change pretty quickly. Why did Bitcoin prices fall?

If you've noticed, BTC has gone up and down a few hundred bucks daily for weeks. It's either doing okay or dumping. Gotta be patient and walk away for awhile...

tbh im a bit worried about the chinese bps

-which- Chinese BPs? There have been MANY China and HK-based EOS teams that have been wonderful partners in the common launch. I wouldn't worry about them. There are some giant companies that seek to join as BPs (and probably will) who have not participated in our process. I can see why you might worry about them, but that's more of a corporate vs developer/individuals question to me.
