Stop spreading false information that eos do airdrop. Eos will not do any airdrop and that is a fact.

You have a reading comprehension issue. The question was if it was possible to get more eos to qualify for auto airdrops. Not airdrops of eos. I stated that the wallets were frozen but some companies are still offering airdrops to people under 100 tokens. I never said free eos, I said airdrops for owning eos.

Do you have it in a private wallet with a registered eos address? If so you will receive airdrops from different bps, everpedia, evo, etc dependent upon their requirements. You will not get eos but the independent bp tokens like dac did a 1:1 other are doing a 5, 1:1

Well the idea is you vote for 30, each vote you makes carries the weight of all your coins. The top 21 are bps I think the others are subs. So you can vote for just one but it really means you are shorting yourself

Many experts have been warning of cartels that will form in DPOS systems and small holders will have no chance to influence governing decisions on the blockchain. The cartels form because the block producers themselves get a lot of tokens, and therefore a lot of voting power. Then they agree to trade votes to keep themselves in power.

Was it not the intention of eos, to end the day trading, and let us all focus elsewhere? We would make more by holding tight to eos, but still get to partake in new projects via airdrops, thereby strengthening the network by our holding, instead of selling off eos which wouuld lower the price ..

I was being lazy with my words when i said, "end daytrading". I only meant that it would be more attractive to hold eos. The structure of eos seems to reinforce itself in many ways, and has feedback loops that could prove very powerful, but people will need to know how it works, and complete the cycle by holding.

Yep. Lol. I was just rewatching the cypherglass video. .. the question is, if eos is so attractive, who will sell it to invest in the airdropped projects? Of course, if those projects do well on eos, it just strengthens eos further. I guess all this means, that the eos community is actually crowd sourcing the investment decisions of eos, by people investing in those project only when they are very sure it will do well.

Update for EOS holders on Binance: I saw that Binance registered their total accounts with EOS mainnet. Therefore, when successful mainnet, EOS attributed automatically according to total accounts. After that, Binance will attribute detail accounts of investors. Binance will get full airdops on total accounts but maybe investors are not, only get main EOS.

Still on schedule. ✨👌✨ The main net network is being verified, load tested, security tested, BP’s are going through security testing, and the Block Producer candidates are all working together for one main chain launch in the next day or few. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH SCAMMERS! Don’t upload your private key anywhere until there is a clear consensus from multiple trusted Block Producers in a public forum that it’s time! That will be tomorrow at the least.

For sure, but in the same way there are temporary BP as part of the launch sequence, there could be valuable airdrops planned throughout the beginning stages. Maybe a few projects should leave their snapshot date a well known mystery. Just to smooth the launch, or a few projects talk of Airdropping to addresses that have never moved, and/or to address that bought in the first week of mainnet, and have not moved... who knows what people could do retroactively, but it wouldn't have the same effect on the launch unless somebody was talking about it in forums. I'm in NY so I got screwed 2x's cuz I use ShapeShift through Exodus which both EOS & Shapeshift are restricted for me. I ended up having to use a VPN to go around it. So if you come across a restriction, get a good VPN and you'll be good to go :)

Actually the voting process in national elections is highly decentralised. Only the result is centralised. In either case a well thought out voting process will have some idea how long it is meant to take. Since there are four groups trying to launch a mainnet, will the voting process be a race with the first to complete being the one that is completed being declared the mainnet. ? Or will there just be multiple mainnets and if so how can exchanges decide which one to use.

Yes because the voting takes place at multiple nodes like in a distributed system then the results are also counted local also. Only the final tally results in a centralised result.

It was never a good idea to leave tokens on exchenges during freeze. There are known disadvantages and risks of doing so

Its sounds as if there is alot of room for chaus to result as there is not clear way to determine which mainnet is the true mainnet. Its as if EOS is forking multiple times at launch.

Yes because the voting takes place at multiple nodes like in a distributed system then the results are counted locally also. Only the final tally results in a centralised winner.. National elections are not byzantime fault tolerant like blockchains, but they are definately distrubuted processes just as many computer systems such as Hadoop and other pre blockchain decentralised systems with an element of central control. What makes the EOS voting process different from from elections is not its decentralisation. It's the fact that many mainnets can result and which will be the true mainnet is unclear.

i think you are confusing the EOS vote as a single event....it does not finish as votes can be reallocated
