Anyone else having issues unstake get on grey mass? Or is there any other alternatives to stake?
Greymass should work. Cypherglass has a YouTube tutorial.

No because you registered your ledger's ethereum address so your eos will be with that eos public key. You're going to have to wait for arbitration I think.

Why is the price of ETH then that high? Is it widely accepted as currency?
It will never be a currency only an utility token. On eth you could build currency I think but... 10 tps Here you got a list of dapps build on eth https://www.stateofthedapps.com/rankings

When the network starts getting heavy usage forcing projects to purchase EOS tokens to maintain the performance of their dapp driving demand up for the limited supply of EOS.
When the network will be stable

A “pause” is an unfamiliar term to most in crypto, raises eyebrows. Most people are familiar with “hard forks”. “Eos software is designed in such a way that when an error of this type occurs the chain will pause to prevent a hard fork. All block producers were halted when they detected a break in consensus.” Some people might cry bloody centralized. However, one could debate 21 block producers and Blockone creating a fix for an automated chain pause is a far better solution than past forking by bitcoin core and Ethereum foundation, unilateral decisions by unelected decision makers. Consequently, we are all to familiar about fork debates and inaction, regardless of community opinion and sentiment. We already know how well this works. We have witness the process drag on for months resulting in stalemates without action. Eos opts for something radically different. Thus there will be people that feel the status quo is endangered, so I understand the army of naysayers that leap at every opportunity to pounce at eos in order to defend their protocols. There will always be people who question eos. Why? Because eos is ideologically different. Erroneous code should not be treated as the law of the land at the expense of others. People should not lose millions of dollars as they did with the Parity bug because a developer created erroneous code. Meanwhile, Vitalik or the Ethereum foundation decides tough luck. The funny thing is, I don’t even know who made the decision. How ironic is that. To be fair, the decision was not an easy one to make since there are many dapps on Ethereum. Revert those blocks and all the data is lost in order to salvage people’s funds affected by the parity bug. A no win situation. Eos worked as designed to prevent these impossible decisions. Eos strives to be something dynamically different with governance and elected block producers. In the end eos may fail, always a possibility, who knows, but from all this just maybe we get something more radically different with fair outcomes for all parties involved.

EON has not been trade in binance, it could be already in gate.io. Penny token at best, so 10 withdrawal fee is reasonable. it’s a new token airdrop for EOS holders based on jun 1 snapshot. It has nothing to do with eos and certain don’t have the value of eos. Eos withdrawal is still frozen

coinpayment must be aware that they could have registered it for you (like binance does), or even that there is a fallback method for people who didnt register as long as you have control over the private key of the eth wallet. but unfortunately in the end its up to you, everyone was told you should not hold them on exchanges and have to register them.

For those in private wallet, they were required to do extra steps, send 0 eth to EON address before jun 1 and you need to have more than 100 eos to be qualified but sadly little knew about it. So for EON airdrops, Binance users got an upper hand.

that's correct. first of all you should check if you see an account name and token balance when you search for your eos public key here: eosflare.io - if so then you dont have to do anything at all. you could wait forever and eventually move the tokens once you start using a wallet software you trust with your private key.

There isn't supposed to be bugs, but if there are the software is paused to avoid forking.
Today, the #EOS mainet encountered a severe failure that prevented validators from producing blocks for nearly 5 hours. I've analyzed EOS's code in the past and predicted some of these consensus failures. Here's why you should expect more to come ๐Ÿ‘‡ The Delegated Proof-of-Stake Consensus schema developed for BitShares is very different than the one used in EOS, which has barely been tested. Many changes were made to accommodate things like a Turing-complete language, and its current architecture is still *very* experimental. EOS has a feature that freezes block production in light of failures as a fork prevention mechanism, so given its infancy - we should NOT expect to be reliable for some time. If it follows the same pattern as comparable distributed systems, "time" means at least 2 years.

This bug fix is part of getting the blockchain to a stable state in the early days. Ethereum and Bitcoin had (large) bugs on their livenets that needed emergency fixes for. Years later they are much more stable. We are early days still on EOS. Literally “early days”. Like 2 days.BPs did not pause the chain!!!! Bullshit being spread.. Kevin Rose - EOS New York: The software paused the chain to prevent a hardfork. It worked exactly as designed if an issue like this was encountered.

Then I am Glad you are happy :) But watching this channel pretty often I can tell you that they are A LOT of people confused and not knowing what to do. So to me they could do a better job at communicating. But that's my poin t of view
Most people should be willing to help you here, it's up to the community ;) Block one just creates and maintains the EOS software

Yes, it is different because eos use friendly usernames (easy to remember). Like steemit
that’s kind of trade of thing, it seems I need to wait until bitfinex support eos withdrawal, before that I do nothing ๐Ÿ™

you can use cleos or more friendly tool like https://toolkit.genereos.io/tools you will need to buy small amount of ram to do so, about ~0.126 eos to "buy" name, but only exactly 12 characters. It's selling out quick. so pick one that's easy to remember or suits your identity. you can see what people is using for their name https://eostracker.io/accounts
Wow thanks!!

I get it man. I do. My take on it though is they had stated very clear the community would take the keys. If youre mad youre mad at the community not b1
I don't think you do ... giving the 'keys' to the community is great. I am just saying that they should have explained the community how to get manage the community investments. I have a lot of other coins, some went to swaps too but the process was always clearly explained. To me this part was still block.one responsability as they were the ones taking the money during ICO. So the least they could have done is to explain properly how to get our tokens to the mainnet.

i use cleos, but you can use the same tool by checking the account feedback. For instance, https://eostracker.io/accounts/retrogamefan This will have valid json feedback. if you change the last account query name to the one you want to check (retrogamexxx) then a non existing account name would have no feedback with endless spinning. https://eostracker.io/accounts/retrogamexxx
