I would greatly appreciate some help with this. My scenario is - I misplaced the flash drive my metamask seed is on which contain the eos tokens I bought during ico. I did however "register" the tokens when the portal was still avail on the eos.io website. When mainnet launched the EOS Distribution Claim Key(key pair) I received from registration on eos.io did not in fact appear to have been succefully registered. In june wIthout the seed to the metamask with the original eos tokens in it I felt hopeless and dissapointed. I was really counting on that registration I made sure to do well before laumch to be suffice, obviosly it was not. Now today while cleaning I found the flashdrive with my metamask seed I had so desperately needed two months ago, my eos show up there and when I put the eth address into eosauthority it reveals my balance. I really hope there is some way for me to finally use my eos now , am I too late or is there something I can do? will gladly compensate for any help in unlocking my tokens ! - thanks!

Ok...are you familiar with the CET token from the Chaince exchange? It's very similar to that. Tokens are being pooled together into an account. Those tokens get landed out to generate fees. Those fees are then redistributed proportionately to the holders of REX which isn't a token but some type of IOU that proves that you have staked tokens to the pool and are entitled to your cut of the reward ☺️

REX in and out is a straight swap for eos PLUS you get more eos proportional to your REX. The additional eos within the rental ecosystem is generated from sale of seos which is then consumed by use of net and CPU Seos is inflationary to discourage holding / hoarding seos That's my initial understanding anyway

As REX are generated at 1:1 when staking eos. renters add eos to the pool and get seos back They use seos to access net and cpu They can sell seos back to the market maker, but likely at a loss unless system is maxed for net and cpu as supply is only limited by system. I still don't see how REX will ever be anything other than 1:1 eos

There’s a requirement to use a proxy or vote for 21. Proxies are good if you choose the right one while if you want to vote for 21 then you make your own research as you do now. We prohibited vote buying but was it ever enforced? What’s more this is not rewarding for voting but for staking and voting comes with it so let it come. As we needed a good voters education before we will need it also after REX. And there’s more to it. REX will drain eos from exchanges so they won’t have such a power on BPs positions. This is good move at first sight

Here is how I interpret it: Person A sends 100 EOS, gets 100 REX. REX connects with Bancor and creates 100 SEOS. dApp/speculator buys the SEOS with EOS (which goes to REX). Over a 30 day period, the SEOS goes from 100 to 0 as it's used for cpu and network. Traders can buy and sell it for short term price fluctuations. 30 days later, SEOS is depleted?? And dApp/Speculator needs to buy more from the market at a new price, and Person A crashes in their REX for EOS+fees.

Yea I don't understand SEOS

My understanding is you lend the resource exchange (REX) your EOS and the resource exchange will give you a receipt called the rex token indicating that you have lent a certain about of eos to it. Then correspondingly SEOS will be created in a 1:1 ratio with EOS. Dapp developers and speculators can then buy the SEOS with their EOS to stake in either CPU or BANDWIDTH. The trading fees generated will be returned to the holders of rex tokens as interest.

What I mean is this. Assume only 2 people take advantage of this new market. A H0DLRr and dApp HODLr leases 1000 EOS and gets 1000 REX on day 1. This creates 1000 SEOS. dApp comes in and buys the 1000 SEOS for 10 EOS. and uses to delegate CPU and NET for 30 days. 10 EOS goes to REX Day 2, HODLr decides to trade in REX for EOS, gets 1010 EOS, and uses their EOS to delegate CPU And NET. If only these people exist, what happes to the dApp's 1000 SEOS?

lets say it was btc/eos.... if for some reason the number of btc was reduced by half, it would take less btc to buy eos... i think that applies here.. i dont think the amount of seos comes down

Yes, I imagine a natural inflation of 1-5% would be set, so that if you buy 100 SEOS for 100 EOS and decide to hold on to it for a year and sell it, you will only get 95 EOS back for example.
