I am going through the process in simpleos, I successfully received all keys needed and now I’m on the following step: “Send the account creation code to a friend to create your account for you on simplEOS. This code does not contain your private key 🙂 After your account is created please import the active key only on your wallet!” The problem is that I don’t have any “EOS friend” to help me with account creation code. What can I do in this situation? Do we have a centralized tool to do that?

Have you registered them? If so you can use any of tools available to accees your mainnet eos. If not, i believe there is fallback still available for eos keys generation providing there was at least 1 outgoing transaction from your eth address

Any outbound transaction before June is sufficient. It's necessary in order for your ethereum public key to be determined. Without a signed transaction only your ethereum address can be determined, which is not your public key.

I don't know if you said whether or not you registered your ethereum address. You can tell by putting your ethereum address in at eosauthority.com. If you did register you should have saved your eos private key and that's all you need. If you didn't register you'll need to use your ethereum private key with the fallback method to generate your eos private key: https://eosauthority.com/blog/how_to_generate_your_EOS_fallback_key_from_ethereum_private_key

Came across this in another room Bitcoin ETFs I wasn't sure I would go forward with this, but I feel a moral and ethical obligation to. And while this is really going to upset and possibly enrage the close friends I have who work in some of the larger named Investment Banks on Wall Street, I want to share this with everyone I can reach in the crypto space and let the chips fall where they may. Here's the deal: The market has done a great job of convincing everyone the Bitcoin ETFs are the end-all be-all for crypto growth. (They're not. At all.) But they want you to believe this to get the prices down really really low for Wall Street. And everyone seems to be playing right into their propaganda. Realize that Bitcoin ETF's have been applied for and denied going back the last 5 years. With our recent run testing a $1 Trillion crypto market cap, Wall Street woke up and realized holy hell there is actually a ton of money to be made in this space and it has barely begun. But they missed the boat! So they want in, cheap; Convince everyone these ETF proposals are paramount for the market to ever go up again. (What a joke!). Realize the most likely scenario is these Bitcoin ETFs will not be approved at all this year until early or late next year; all the while using each delay and denial to further drive down the price of BTC. We can stop this if we stop giving credence to their propaganda that is the importance of the ETFs. Clearly the ETF Proposals are clouding the crypto space to the point it is absurd and ridiculous -- you see it, I see it, and yet we are all playing into it and spreading their manipulative message. Entirely too much focus is being placed on the ETFs. What everyone needs to be focused on is the technology and adoption. Stay focused on the technology and adoption of crypto, it's what got the market to nearly $1 Trillion already, and let's all let the ETFs do whatever they're going to do. If we can get everyone on the same page here (and if we work together we can) Bitcoin will brush off the ETF bull shiitake and the crypto market will continue to grow massively with the awesome developments in the crypto space. Do not give Wall Street the pleasure of seeing you Tweet, Post, YouTube, etc anything having to do with the ETFs. Just stop. Let's bring it to a full stop my crypto friends. Will you do your part to help the crypto community get back on track with focusing on what really matters -- the technology and adoption. Shine the light on this important message and share it with all. Thanks in advance. Together we are unstoppable.

block producers can cherry pick transactions to only include those that require a lower amount of computational resources in order to process. this would imply higher transactional throughput because transactions aren't processed in a serialized or sequential manner, but rather based on how easy they are to process.

how does it provide byzantine fault tolerance? your iteration of dPoS extends network functionality to token holders, so since they perform logical functions which the system requires in order to properly operate and maintain a certain degree of security, they should be considered nodes.

You sound like a purist. A slow blockchain is well and fine for a currency only coin that you only use to transfer value or purchase things on the internet. But to have retail purchases you need a fast blockchain or a good L2 solution. And to have dapps you need high performance. IMO good dapps are needed to create real world crypto adoption. And even if you don't think EOS is decentralized enough or don't think that high performance dapps are important EOS adoption could still end up benefitting you. The more people that use crypto the better as they will branch off and buy other crypto assets as well, including super decentralized currency only coins.

I know. I thought it uses the underlying secure enclave feature of the hardware device (could be wrong though). The good thing is that the potential Intel issue won't impact iPhones. Yes, my experience was great. I even had calls with my approved to answer their concerns. But hey, maybe crypto is different. Remember is a centralized censoring company.

Are you talking about B1 or EOS? Because EOS doesn't have to "make money". B1 has plenty of backing and will transition into a app / consulting type model (eg building apps for customers) in my opinion
