No each account has owner and active permissions. They just start out using the same private key. You can get a 2nd private key and just change your active one andf use it all the time instead, and lock away your original owner, or change that one too if you feel you may be compromised.

I have my account set up like this: I use a alarm bot to notify me of any activity on my account name. @EOSAlarmEBot Owner permission has a private key / Public key (cold storage, paperwallet, safety deposit box buried 6 feet deep) Active permission has a separate keypair (used for everyday activities connecting to dapps etc etc) If my everyday activities (ACTIVE keys) ever get me in trouble and my keys are compromised, I can dig up my owner keys and "change the locks" on my active permission. (https://eostoolkit.io/account/permissions) If you have your tokens STAKED then you have the added security of 3 days (72 hours) to change your keys before a hacker can move your tokens off your account.

Wait so it only geta rid of your ram? Temporaryly or forever?

The space in the RAM will be occupied for as long as its not explicitly deleted by you or the smart contract account owner. Right now the only way to delete it again I believe is if the smart contract has a custom delete action implemented, which would not be the case here. But I could imagine that eventually a new feature will be added to the eosio software that maybe lets every account easily view and manage all the Ram being used. But maybe there's a good reason users can't just wipe most of their RAM whenever they want.

The amount of CPU each EOS grants the user fluctuates depending on network activity. When the network is being spammed, cpu available is shifting based on the amount of spam. Generally it takes 24 hours to be recalculated but may take longer if the network is busy. You may stake more, wait a bit or use https://cpuemergency.com/

I left a review on their project on Revain platform. The project is very ambitious and promising. EOS is set to be a significant competitor to the current leading blockchains like Ethereum, Neo, ... etc. Comparatively to ethereum, EOS provides + 1,000 transactions per seconds ( 15 transactions per seconds for ETH ) and didn't apply fees for tokens transactions
