Hashgraph is not disruptive enough. It doesn't offer a better chaotic opportunity like eos and other promising 5th gen cryptos. By this I mean the disorder a world changing crypto could prompt could see much needed wealth exchange from the aging conservatives to the next generation. People are living longer and bottle necking the wealth.) Amoungst other things hashgraph is the tame alternative option and it's a purely centralised company.

Every new record in db will consume your ram, lets say airdrop token - around 0.12 kb. Airgrab is a feature when you reserve ram for the token - so yes, every airgrab will also require some ram from you.

yeah, I don't know know enough about how ADA will work with regard to airdraps to comment about that part (why wouldnt they be possible?). I was more pointing out the difference between DPoS and pure PoS that ADA is offering. It lets joe coinholder some more opportunity to gain rewards.

There's a claim that eos "stole the code" from P3D/POWH model for EOS RAM including the bugs in it like this latest ram leak exploit. Understood, but what is the theo of what it should be if speculation didn't exist? Basically, if EOSIO becomes a network used by the masses, the RAM issue will surely have been'solved' by then and I was wondering what the theo price of commoditized RAM would be on EOSIO.

So how to do it?

I have my account set up like this: I use a alarm bot to notify me of any activity on my account name. @EOSAlarmEBot Owner permission has a private key / Public key (cold storage, paperwallet, safety deposit box buried 6 feet deep) Active permission has a separate keypair (used for everyday activities connecting to dapps etc etc) If my everyday activities (ACTIVE keys) ever get me in trouble and my keys are compromised, I can dig up my owner keys and "change the locks" on my active permission. (https://eostoolkit.io/account/permissions) If you have your tokens STAKED then you have the added security of 3 days (72 hours) to change your keys before a hacker can move your tokens off your account.

did you register your erc20 eos properly? if so you should have a keypair where the public key starts with `EOS...`. then simply search for it on e.g. bloks.io to see your new eos account name and the eos token balance and the airdropped tokens you received. and use any of the popular wallets if you need to do something with them.

I think they changed their display to not show the balance that is not staked? It may be an eostracker issue that they are not showing the unstated tokens in the wallet? Bug or has rules changed by which unstated tokens are taken away by the governors of eos chain. Any thing can happen here if you sleep.

when you see the transaction on an eos blockchain explorer like bloks.io it's pretty much confirmed instantly. every second two blocks are written that built onto the previous blocks. but there is something called the "last reversible block" that every block specifies (currently around 300 blocks earlier than the current block) which should give 100% reliablibilty that this irreversible block will stay forever. there is work being done to reduce the last irreversible block to be much sooner within seconds instead of minutes.

yes, you should be good using the "registration fallback method". but it requires your ethereum private keys you'll have to extract from your trezor

What’s the benefits of staking EOS?

Staking is for using the network, i.e. sending transactions. Those could be sending tokens or using dapps like a decentralized twitter or facebook or playing a blockchain based game. It also used for voting. Only staked tokens count towards your voting power. Because unstaking the tokens takes 72 hours to complete it can also be used as a security measure. EOS supports asynchronous smart contracts. They are cheaper to run, execute faster and finalize in a shorter period. There are no fees for executing smart contracts, only an appropriate bandwidth allocation. There is no bloat when multiple smart contracts execute simultaneously.

I am playing some game dapps and feeling it may quiet expensive to using chain for example, I am playing EOS Knight. I need around 1ms CPU for 5-10 min. what if in the future, I operate 10 even 20 dapps in EOS every day, like game, payment, blog, surf, work, whatever. 1000 or even 2000 EOS staked could be reasonable EOS it is close to USD6/EOS. We will need around 6-12K for system already. IF EOS rise to USD100, then we need 600K-1.2M to use the chain. Am I foresee something wrong
