As far as I know , if you were registered for the Eos mainnet. Your Erc20 tokens would have been awarded on the new Chain , making the Erc20 tokens useless . If you've not registered you can go through some process of claiming them for your main net usage

thanks for answering, Yeah so that's correct. My EOS eth tokens had been registered successfully and also transferred after the mainnet launched. But regarding the EOSDAC tokens... how do I make sure they have been swapped successfully to the mainnet? that part I never had to register prior to the mainnet launch

That's great ! Staked coins are used to vote on block producers , and in near future you will recieve a certain number of Eos back per month as a reward to keeping them staked. Be aware it takes 3days to unstake .
I have never seen a project progress so fast in just 2 months , it takes effort to even keep up with all the news and developments. EOS is on the pulse and reacting really fast to community recommendations .

No, you don't input any private keys into it. The private key you keep safe. It corresponds to the PUBLIC KEY that's why they call they key "pairs" so the private key unlocks the public key.
Only put down your PUBLIC key into the field there, and keep your private keys buried out back 6 feet deep somewhere.
You can use it to change the locks in the future.

Agreed.
I especially dislike Binance for making the swap so difficult, and Bitfinex is doing some heavy manipulating with their voting system.
1.) They create a portal to vote anonymously so it allows whales and attracts whales who wish to hide their votes when voting themselves into paid BP positions, which we all know is basically stealing from hard working BP's like eosdetroit, alohaeos, eosuk, and many many other deserving BP's.
2.) they do NOT allow any EOS token holders to vote unless you own $1000 USD worth of eos, which is absolute horseshit in my opinion and games the system.

Agreed.
I especially dislike Binance for making the swap so difficult, and Bitfinex is doing some heavy manipulating with their voting system.
1.) They create a portal to vote anonymously so it allows whales and attracts whales who wish to hide their votes when voting themselves into paid BP positions, which we all know is basically stealing from hard working BP's like eosdetroit, alohaeos, eosuk, and many many other deserving BP's.
2.) they do NOT allow any EOS token holders to vote unless you own $1000 USD worth of eos, which is absolute horseshit in my opinion and games the system.

**The problem**
A malicious user can install code on their account which will allow them to insert rows in the name of another account sending them tokens. This lets them steal RAM by inserting large amounts of garbage into rows when dapps send them tokens.
**The solution**
By sending tokens to a proxy account with no available RAM, and with a memo where the first word of the memo is the account you eventually want to send the tokens to, the only account they can assume database row permissions for is the proxy, which has no RAM.

i'm reading through this and so far this sounds to me like the normal known ram exploit and suddenly he claims that you can transfer eos from there or something, doesnt make sense. but i'll read through it a couple more times.

the vulnerability was discovered using the eos dice game. it seems to be in the `transfer` action. when you send the transfer to an eos accout with a malicious smart contract deployed it might be able to fill up all your ram i believe. but that's it. certainly bad, but not as terrible as your tokens are safe.

**The problem
**A malicious user can install code on their account which will allow them to insert rows in the name of another account sending them tokens. This lets them steal RAM by inserting large amounts of garbage into rows when dapps/users send them tokens.
**The solution
**By sending tokens to a proxy account with no available RAM, and with a memo where the first word of the memo is the account you eventually want to send the tokens to, the only account they can assume database row permissions for is the proxy, which has no RAM.
