Hi all, a question please. I registered my Eos ERC 20 tokens before the mainnet, I have checked and they are there and already staked. I have a public address and private key from that registration. Since then I have bought more Eos. Can I use that public address on mainnet as an address to send to for the Eos that I have recently bought...??? Regards, Phil

I think that's what Syed was implying by saying that new projects will rather used the Genesis Snapshot for now cause it will cost effective for them currently. However, I do agree that enabling the Airgrab will also be a great way to allow those new people to participate. Or they could simply buy the new tokens cheap once it hits the exchanges ☺️

As long as it's an EOS wallet (Ex: Greymass, Simpleos, Meet.one..etc) you should be fine cause those support the mainnet token. You're basically sending your newly bought tokens to your EOS account name 😊

well its different. eos has a lot new concepts. but its easy, just search for your public key on e.g. bloks.io or another eos blockchain explorer to see your tokens and account name

And that point, its actually cheaper to buy that one token on exchanges for cents instead of spending couple dollars to create that account. The number of EOS in the wallet matters because it has to be cost effective compare to simply buying on exchanges. Or like some projects do, you simply use their tools (ex: wallet), interact with the Dapp and win free tokens. Some Teams even create a free account for you that way. People simply need to do their research 😎❤️

Decentwitter is interesting but early days. As I understand privacy is not so good. Or is it? Any dweet can be traced to an EOS account. But if you can have one account that is completely anonymous -- by creating the account over tor onion router, for instance -- you should have privacy. A blockchain entry would not contain a trace of wherefrom an account was accessed? Censorship is related to privacy because a user might be timid to disclose issues that someone else wants to censor. Except for that removing a dweet would require changing the blockchain -- which should be impossible.

Besides of those vanished project teams stashed with defrauded money, there are endless ICOs whose project teams pre-mine major percent of their coins for their own holding purpose and nearly make their coins as their team-majority-controlled coins; What's even worse endless ICOs would be born one after another. Is it ok to say that meetone is doing a great job for the EOS community by bringing in new people in on a daily basis? They are helping mom stop with token migration. Also, they are the only BP that gave back to the community with their RAM profit. They did it by giving people free EOS accounts, which cost money. Did you know that?

We need runs on the board to get some traction. I think they're going to set up a Facebook competitor. It won't be described as a block chain anything, you'll just get paid in fiat for posting, liking etc. Your social media account will have a wallet with a balance in "new Facebook points" or something which will be able to be withdrawn as fiat. Advertisers will have to buy those "points" to post ads or boost posts. There'll be a bancor style market maker in the middle keeping the points close to a dollar. Would be cool anyway...

Yes be careful, If they are asking you to send EOS somewhere it is a scam. You will normally have to stake a small amount of ram to receive the airdrop.

I think you are misunderstanding how vote decay works. Its only purpose is to ensure informed voters. If you cast 10 votes today, after 1 year it will be worth 5 votes. However, at any point in the year, all you have to do is go and click a button and it resets your vote right back to 10 votes.

Yes, and genesis accounts are getting tokens in All. 😂Eventually they will interconnect. You will see.

Not all genesis accounts. We've got an airgrab function that allows you to manually register for airdrops on the eostoolkit. We also created some airdrop tools that let developers do their own more current snapshot than using the genesis snap which was a while ago now 😊
