If you only have EOS on an exchange right now then you need to get an EOS account on the mainnet first to send your tokens to. It costs around 0.7 EOS right now to buy one. The big 3 are Greymass, Simpleos and Scatter.

The general understanding is that coins have their own main net and tokens run on the main net of a platform. So when eos was using the ethereum platform, it was a token. Now it's a coin.

I'm going to sell the EOS at Binance for BTC, or something, then send it to an exchange that is allowing withdrawals (if indeed there are any 😕) then buy EOS and send it to my mainnet account. I hate to admit it, but I'm confused as to the address/memo thing. I'm assuming the address is my 12 letter/digit account name, correct? But what about the memo? The memo is only used to direct funds when sending TO Binance. Think of Binance or only having one postal address. Then each piece of mail has a memo inside to direct funds to your account inside Binance.

ICO is an Initial Coin Offering.. that means a new project earns money by pre-selling their token to fund their projekt. Like kickstart. So if you buy an ico you will get 20 or more % of the token before listing on exchange. Atm it us bear market so its better to wait for a listing of a favourized token/coin because it often gets more cheaper after listing before it goes up. nothing. If you do not unstake your tokens you can vote and when you monitor your account with a tools like eos authority one you can have a notification when someone who isn't you try to unstake tokens. In this way you are always alerted and your account is more secure.

The platform, as the second highest valued blockchain project right now, is criticized for its high transaction costs (high gas prices in bearish market conditions), lack of scalability in low transaction throughput (approximately 15 transactions per second) and latency in transaction finality (6 minutes to finalize a transaction), and the low ratio of transactions on the network that come from applications. Ethereum has not allowed developers to build consumer-grade applications that scale, which is a huge problem for the blockchain industry. Well it would be there loss for them along with EOS holders.. It would be a win for them and also EOS holders as it would add more liquidity to the market for US customers.. Right now the process is I can use a Debit Card and pay 3% to 4% fee or do a bank transfer that takes 5 working days to end up in your Coinbase Wallet. Then I need to transfer the Ether over to Binance and wait for the confirmations depending on the gas price of Ethereum. No I can finally place my limit order on Binance for the my EOS and I receive it!! But now I try to transfer my EOS back to my account on the EOS BLOCKCHAIN and Binance says all WITHDRAWLS and DEPOSITS are suspended!! 😂😂😂 So adding EOS to the Coinbase Exchange would certainly help with all the problems and FEES above!! Lets see what happens with EOSFINEX and Bitshares 2.0 as Dan Larimer said its a race to who goes live first 👍👍👍

initial rate = 1:1 rex eos. Rex back to EOS = EOS you put in + rental fee's

If you've made an account prior to the June snapshot, they will all be automatically sent to your eos private key address. Then it is up to you to make the wallet to have access to them
