BTC - Can be used only as a store of value. High transaction fees, not scalable, very slow BCH, LTC and other BTC clones - Useless. Just products of greed. For making money by selling these as the next BTC. ETH - Gas fee which increases as network load increases. Not a sustainable model. Not scalable. Ripple - Banker coin, centralised, majority of tokens owned by creators. Stellar - Better than the above three but majority of coins owned by creators. Nano- Good as a currency but no smart contracts and no Dapps. Thus limited utility. All ETH tokens- same limitations as ETH Monero - Only advantage is private transactions. But even that privacy is not 100% . Hence questionable. Neo and Cardano- Just doing what ETH is trying to do. Nothing more Dash - No particular advantage over any of the other coins. Newer DAG coins with smart contract support (Like Constellation, Vite and so on)- Unproven technology, not yet released. So just empty promises as of now. Tron and Vechain - I have totally neglected these coins till now. Never bought or read about these. HOLO - Great promises. Unlaunched and unproven technology. If what they say is true, it will be a huge paradigm shift for crypto. But personally I have doubts about the validity of their technology.

My personal opinion is that money can't be a storage of value and have ppl want to spend it at the same time. Good money will be hoarded, money that devalues will be spent.

Makes sense 👌And his argument always is that people are using bitcoin cash more as a method of payment because its cheaper and faster. I think btc might be the only real digital gold used as a store of value and nothing else. But thats just my opinion. Only time can tell.

Any take on this awful market? Before you get inundated with replies.

My take is there are too many platforms in top 100 and too few DAPPs & those DAPPs that there are can’t really justify their value even after 2018 market correction. Part of the issue is many only came online Q2 but mostly issue is until EOS consumer scale DAPPs weren’t possible and those are only starting to come out. So let’s hope ETH layer 2 solutions give them some scalability but it looks like EOS will probably drive this market by showcasing DAPP potential over next 6 months

Yes. If you buy $10k BTC/EOS & it rises to $50k even if you think it will rise more, you will take some profits and if there is the option to buy the things you would buy with your profits eg. Yes. If you have $10k BTC/EOS and it rises to $50k you will want to take profits even if you think it will rise more. If there is the ability to buy what you would have used your profits for eg. A holiday in BTC/EOS you would buy it with that instead of hassle & cost of changing to Fiat

Yes but Gresham’s law is only partly correct imo, you will get rid of bad money but you will replace it with good money and do all your spending in the good money too. Why keep any of your money in something you expect to lose value? You will swap to good money but you will still have expenses and you will pay those from the good money

Yes, therefore price of "good money" in relation to other things will increase and bad money will be spent when purchasing goods and services. - I am simply pointing out the fact that BCH's proposition doesn't really make sense, at least not in the near term. People buy into cryptos now hoping that it will increase in price, but BCH is saying that its crypto should be spent. So if I expect my BCH to rise in price, why should I spend it? If I spend it, then I won't get the benefit of it increasing in price.

No that is incorrect. Bad money will be replaced with good money and goods and services will be purchased medium to long term with the good money. (You are not going to keep savings in bad money therefore once you know it’s bad yes you may get rid of it by spending some on goods and services you need then swap the rest to good money and future goods and services will be purchased with good money)

I think both have similar inflation rates but BCH tried to maximize tx/sec and transaction cost to make it better for spending but I think BTC will achieve same results with lightning network so I expect BCH to fall in value, while BTC will rise in value and also be used more for spending once lightning network is more secure and integrated

Well BCH people will probably swap to BTC because the reason it was created can be achieved with lightning network, plus they can’t agree between them, so clearly the original BTC is ‘good money’ so they will swap to BTC. Then there will be more spending on BTC because people have BTC to spend but few will still have BCH

Sold some eosblack through them yesterday(couldnt resist!) and all worked as expected. took a little while for the final EOS to come through but I had the transaction link from sending the Black so wasn't worried. It is slightly unnerving that there is very little feedback that anything is happening except the glowing dot on the SELL BLACK button. I can confirm though you I left/reloaded that page, and initiated multiple other trades afterwards, and the processess all completed.

Several dApps are going for "airgrabs" instead of "airdrop" which one need to claim. (you could claim using eostoolkit.io) How airgrabs are different from airdrop? Airgrabs uses users RAM for transfer which means dApps doesn't need to invest a lot of money on RAM upfront. 😊
