Low $USD token price is the best thing for EOS right now, and the longer it stays lower the better. Savvy dapp devs are snapping up tokens. Remember there are hundreds of devs (ie. 475 at SF hackathon) bootstrapping projects on EOSIO right now. VeChain is just dirt. Former holder here. Took me a while to see through the nonsense and hype, but that's all there is. Plenty of use cases for blockchain in the supply chain industry, but there's no compelling reason for VET the token to exist.

Yeah, It would be great they develop killer dapps by themselves. More important things I think is that eos should be adopted to expand its ecosystem. History tells us that it has been not always true that better technology is selected by the market. For eos to be adopted massively, b1 marketing team must work harder.

EOSIO is the most effecient, lowest cost, infrastructure for general purpose progamable public blockchains. It has the lowest fees and highest throughput. Blockone is actively seeking to improve this through better DB implementations, faster WASM exec, more effeicent network communications, multi-threaded sig checking. But ultimately, only multi-chain and IBC are capable of scaling enough to meaningfully bring down CPU costs.

I really like the forced voting, even though some are concerned they will vote arbitrarily, I don’t think so and the perception of EOS participation will be much improved too. But will be interesting to see in practice

Well the obvious ones are if you look at Binance, generating Billion dollar volumes and worth few billion, I think exchages will move to DEX and only EOS can handle them. MKR worth few hundred million with 100 million DAI, how much stablecoin Dapp worth of gets bigger than problem plagued $1.8 Billion Tether? Then we may see Facebook etc. replaced by blockchain versions that provide greater privacy and/or give you value for your data

Yes but they haven’t had the UX to compete with centralized exchanges. Often you have to pay gas fees on Ethereum, they are platform locked & slow, a fast multi blockchain token DEX with low fees no KYC will probably dominate in year or two

You have in game items worth billions but can’t guarantee game manufacturers won’t create more whereas blockchain you can limit them. You currently can’t buy a $10 share of a Picasso but ART is solving that through blockchain, lots of high value items including property can now easily be sold on a micro level just so many Dapp applications but ETH can’t really handle them and EOS just started, it’s an exciting future

It's likely they went back to actions rather than tx. Each EOS tx can contain many actions - for a more apples-to-apples comparison with ETH/BTC etc we should be showing individual actions rather than the bundled tx

The number of tokens in the initial supply is sort of irrelevant, broadly speaking. You could think of it as buying/selling a certain **proportion** of the supply - the number of tokens you get when you buy that percentage of the supply, along with the number of tokens making up the total supply are pretty much arbitrary numbers. I'm just trying to say that you own a percentage of the tokens, and the number of tokens you get for that percentage doesn't mean much.

You'd need an account for each BP, then what happens if a BP unregs or a new BP registers? Even if you had an account for each BP, and you created an order, your order would then be split amongst 30 separate contracts and your vote weight would be 1/30th..there's also several other problems it would cause
