I had never heard of the EOS Authority wallet until just now. While I'm sure it's a fine wallet, people saying it's the best or something — are being a little...biased. Greymass and Scatter are the two most widely used. I would guess they have marketshare of 90% together.

I have my account set up like this: I use a alarm bot to notify me of any activity on my account name. @EOSAlarmEBot Owner permission has a private key / Public key (cold storage, paperwallet, safety deposit box buried 6 feet deep) Active permission has a separate keypair (used for everyday activities connecting to dapps etc etc) If my everyday activities (ACTIVE keys) ever get me in trouble and my keys are compromised, I can dig up my owner keys and "change the locks" on my active permission. (https://eostoolkit.io/account/permissions) If you have your tokens STAKED then you have the added security of 3 days (72 hours) to change your keys before a hacker can move your tokens off your account

both are written in node.js though and they feel a little sluggish. I‘m no expert, but wouldn’t it be better to use a compiled language to take full advantage of EOS low transaction times and the contracts compiled to wasm?

Cloning ain't bad if it's done for the right reasons, by the right team. I don't expect the EDNA token to be doing any cloning but I suppose anything is possible. Imagine cloning being done by a DAC though.. That'd be pretty sweet.

If we are not focused on mainnet, the token holders and ecosystem as a whole will suffer. With price where it is, many operations are faced with diversifying income - at least until price recovers.

For us at LiquidEOS, we don't simply BP but finance our tech team that continues to develop innovative solutions and applications intended to help the EOS ecosystem. However, at the moment, we are operating at a loss. I assume this is the case for many BPs at at the moment.

My question is how long are we expected to fund the network at a loss before people start running the bare minimum required. We have already had situations where dApps didn’t have any available endpoints (something all BPs and standbys are required to do in the regproducer agreement).

We like to think of ourselves as the Skunk Works division :) To warm up, in the past few months, LiquidEOS already developed the first graphical voting tool to help get MainNet online at a critical moment in time, Heartbeat to prevent rogue standby BPs from shutting their servers and increasing transparency for all, the Guard Dog, the first DIY hardware wallet, etc. We are currently heads down tackling some of the biggest issues we see on EOS from a tech and scaling perspective. More info on multiple major breakthroughs we have achieved will be released in the coming weeks. 2019 is going to be an exciting year for Dapps.

Hey guys I am trying to get info on this project: BlockToken. Their telegram is spam, the website looks like crap, they keep posting on eos reddit trying to get eos holders to sign up for airdrop, and ask for email and full name. When I google them I can't find information on them. Somehow they managed to get added to eosdrops. It says no action required to receive airdrop, but they are wanting email and full name? Links to their website are not working except for the link to the registration page to give them all your info. Any help finding out more about these guys would be appreciated. Thanks eosfam.

I disagree, EOS does not need to be peg-ed, it should try to decouple from price speculation and enter a price of evaluation rather

If I understand correctly, removing that 50,000,000 of EOS from the calcs it would free up the CPU to be shared between the actual users of CPU.
