It was free on dexeos, but yes maybe, i have not got round to Bancor yet. I was on dexeos because they are listing Telos trading at launch so i was experimenting and saw the price of black and thought it was a good way for me to test their exchange.

Prices work sometimes on speculation, speculation work on emotions and emotions are based on how others are reacting to the situation in hand. I don't think BPs promoting EOS for now could help making price stable.

abiously below 3 dollars is costly to run the equipment i suppose same as bitcoin ....bitcoin drops below 3 k then a whole bunch of miners will drop out making the network less secure

when miners drop out, the difficulty drops to guarantee 10min block times, so it becomes rentable even at 3k

Yes sure.. whoever BP wants more than 1 percent for rewards, let them get out of business. I have bp node running at fractions of their costs and doing it for charity and no revenues. It is high time the token holders who are eventual bag holders get something out of this. Get rid of useless voting system and make it a POS with equitable return to token holders and small BPs.

Very cool analysis. We all know voting is a problem. If there was a way to stop spamming accounts then one vote per account could have worked, but infortuntaely nothing stops someone from creating a million accounts and voting with them

For the techical guys in this group. I have a question. Per my understanding the amount of CPU time allocated to a person (if network is running at 100%) is 86400 / 1000000000 . That gives you the amount of seconds of CPU time per EOS token, which equals to about 86 micro seconds. I see on bloks.io that doing a value transfer takes about 1000 micro seconds. Does this mean theoretically I can only send one transaction per day if I had 10 EOS staked if the network was at full load?

But how do you counter a handful of people dictating the network? That is also not a good thing. The same reason why democracy does not give Bill Gates more voting power, as a concentration of power in terms of voting could ultimately lead to a dictatorship. Having a lot of money does not neccesarily mean you know what you are doing!

But skin in the game makes you at least do your own research. In real world we vote certain party as we expect them that they would help providing a secure neighborhood and future (maybe creating jobs), we have something to lose if we bring dishonest government. In entities, skin in the game (funds) will help to make similar decision. I hope we have identity based voting with time limited skin in the game (a minnow with identity could stake his EOS for ten years and have near equal power to a dolphin staked for 1 year), but that's just one opinion.

I want to create an account of which am required to send roughly 0.5 EOS to a smart contract, however the exchange am using has a minimum withdrawal of 10 EOS. what i would love to know is, if i sent all the 10 EOS to the smart contract, would the 9.5 EOS appear as a balance in my account or it will all be used up in the account reation?

the transaction count on blocktivity is not accurate. I doesn't count inline transactions. The deceloper is working to update it. eos is doing way more trnsactions in 24hrs than what is on blocktivity

Looks like the network operations race between WAX and EOS looks like is benefiting both. EOS is having better average txs number and WAX seems to follow the evolution. What about supporting Chintai? There is some need there which is not met by your current driver as mentioned by nsjames. Altshiftdev has and had a better driver that the cryptofairy you supported, it is time that more due diligence be done to get features in alshifydev version into your ledger drivers. Or else, support the better ledger out there and make it better functional for use. For example your ledger driver consistently and erratically reports 3050003 error when used with scatter in newdex with quite a few tokens. You guys ought to test how well your driver works with scatter when using chintai, newdex , dexeos etc. if I can’t use your driver for transacting but only for storing, it is totally useless.

The fewer barriers for users getting into the ecosystem, the better. At the moment for me it's: buy ETH on Bitstamp, transfer to Binance, buy EOS, transfer to wallet. Takes ages and you've got fees at every step. No normal person would waste their time or their money like that.

My mistake, i did got long shift and re read the question mark on the simpleos app, however, i do buy eos, because as an idea as an asset. I cant find other reason why i can buy it and use it, thats what am i asking now. I do see there can be voted for a producer that helps for the transactions, thats basicly the idea of the stacking. But for me as logic, somehow from inside im asking, what do i win? Cuz obviously i see only an asset which i do watch its price. what do you mean?

there isn't the option to "Transfer Stake To New Account" if I select create new account from exchange, its only enalbe if I pay using scatter

What exactly are you trying to do? "Transfer stake to new account" is used if you already have an eos account, and you are creating another account, with that account.

you can accomplish the same thing, by just creating an account from an exchange, then after the account is created, you can send eos from the old account to the new account, or delegate stake from the old account to the new account

the eos you send from binance goes into a smart contract that creates an account for you.. it will use some of the eos you send for ram to create the account, and the rest will be staked into cpu and net for you.. binance will not have anything to do with it
