Yeah there is. It's called accounting. There's 2 things in this world. Surety, and accounting. Everything boils down to that. If you can reduce or remove the need for expensive accounting services, you can prove surety with the proper smart contract. That's more valuable than any use case in my opinion because the underlying foundation beneath every transaction is surety and accounting. With blockchain, that's built in.

Zero-knowledge proofs are a kind of cryptographic method to exchange information without compromising a secret. In the case of Zcash, it's zk-SNARKs; requires trusted setup, intially had large proof sizes. Very large anonymity set. Zcoin uses Zerocoin protocol. This is a sister project to Zcash.

I agree there are issues to solve. What are your concerns ?

There is a need for a hardware wallet solution (5 months into mainnet on a top project). Thankfully Cypherglass has delivered in conjunction with scatter There is a needed solution for the CPU issues There is needed attention around ECAF There is needed attention in the enforcement of constitutional violation such as vote buying (some we’re working on at EOSVibes - is a coded solution) Greater voter engagement is needed. I’m personally eagerly awaiting REX and think that Chintai has done a great job as well. Also what’s up with IBC? There are not decentralized sister chains without it. Also need a solution to the dropped blocks and microforks taking place during tx processing This list goes on. However don’t take this as doom and gloom, and I’m a big believer that critics should also bring solutions. Some solutions require larger collaboration (which I’d like to see). EOS is a fantastic project with limitless upside and a growing developer and dapp community. Now is the time to come together and solve big problems.

I respect your opinion

As a large part of the cryptocurrency community as a whole and a big advocate for the EOS platform as by far the best dApp platform available in the space I spend a lot of my time defending EOS against the 'masses' who accuse EOS of being centralized, corrupted, not really crypto, you name it. I do this because I defend the truth and I think EOS is unfairly assaulted by the media (who is probably being paid by consensys to run constant hit pieces). Also though, I am not and have never been a blind "fan boy" I defend it because it's actually the best in my opinion. I don't like the idea of one man controlling everything and community members who want more collaboration being shut down and threatened because they dare to have an opinion againat Dan. You get what I'm saying?
