The staking rewards on some of these EOSDapps are crazy. Most are “game” platforms that share 1/2 of the revenue with their token holders. Takes http://eostiger.io for example. They share 55% revenue, daily. Also when you bet EOS you are “mining” their TGC token too.

Regarding EOS not a block chain article and Proof of Work vs proof of stake...There is a lot of stuff that doesn't have to be extremely secured but as computer s get better like quantum computing, EOS will have to be more secured and that's what I think EOS will evolved to a hybrid platform...users will have a choice to send a secured transaction by using proof of work that is if is desired maybe with a small fee...so I see a small part of EOS using proof of work for the extremely secured transactions :)) https://youtu.be/UJr1IvcrMs0

I feel that EOS is a bit too arrogant. EOS started to use cpu only 10% of its capacity, and later increased to 20%, obviously not enough, so DAPP user experience is very bad. I hope that EOS can open all capacity of cpu and attract enough users

I think when lightning network and analogous L2 settlement networks activate on all chains and trillions of transactions happen per second on bitcoin, EOS, and ETH, every network will be tied for "energy efficiency". I agree that those things can happen, I just don't think they will happen the way we thought they would. Lightning is ok, but it's got issues to iron out, and in a world of truly decentralized dapps on a decentralized network that utilizes decentralized governance.. it's going to be very very hard to keep up with the innovation waves we'll see on EOS and other platforms that gain a foothold on the market. I see a lot of future potentiol for EOS now because of the adoption that's happened in the last year and a half with developer communities, and the adoption that is happening with the dapps they're delivering now. Bitcoin didn't get mass adoption, just mass hype and for good reason, but I've stopped being a maximalist a long time ago, because the community couldn't support itself any longer. Now it's a shill game to keep people on a sinking ship from my perspective. Good luck to all blockchains. I want nothing more than to dismantle the old system while replacing it with a much more efficient and appreciated system we can all be proud to participate in.

Correct. Then you can have a theory of how miners issue supply to the market based on whatever you want. Currently, over the last 10 years, there has been a 0.91 correlation between hashrate and price (in bitcoin). That's an observable fact. EOS is 5 months old, but after 5 years, people will begin to correlate the price to dapps, trade volume, transactions/second, daily active users, etc

David, if you are mad at me because Cypherglass does not produce blocks for Worbli, it's because Worbli is centralized. Going around asking BPs to approve, many accounts are locked out due to CPU. At least on other blockchains ppl can still send a tx, even if the fee is high

Who knows. I just don’t have much hope for crypto the rest of the year. This has been quite the humbling year. I really at this point can’t even tolerate any more wrong price predictions for any coins. This year has taught me that nobody knows anything and we’re all just guessing. We love are respective coins but at the end of the day we’re all just making educated guesses.

There are opportunity costs involved. If you have to stake hundreds of dollars of EOS to use the network you could have earned money elsewhere with it. EOS should be cheap to use, even for the crowd who earns $1 a day. Period. This CPU issue is unacceptable and must be fixed soon

I'm also a bit worried that he is completely silent on the issue. He did mention upgrades coming which will help. But we need a 1009% improvement. 100% will not be good enough. As things stand we cannot exceed 100 tps. 50 tps which is affordable
